From what was shared on their social media a while back, Chase has gone on to focus more energy on straight wrenching. I think as a lead mechanic at a giant shop like Gas Monkey Garage he must have been buried in paperwork, managing mechanics and client builds.

The distributor needs moving to get the timing right on the charger, I never understand why people don't do this as it's often the case that it's been messed around with previously, those backfires are a major indicator that the dizzy is in the wrong place.

Turn the distributor a little bit either way because they won't never idle until you get the timing and carburator straightened out. I'm surprised it's even running at all with the dashboard being the way it is. If you don't have an engine to body ground wire nothing will work right cause battery to body ground isn't enough to make everything work correctly. I have an ol 04 Pontiac Grand Am that the headlights wasn't bright and the signal lights or anything wanted to do right until I put an engine to body ground wire on it and so far so good.The horn and everything works so much better now

Here in Australia we had Chrysler build us the greatest Charger ever ,it has the most beautiful body lines the greatest motor ever built under the bonnet ,police used them as hwy patrol vehicles we raced them on and off the streets ,a true Aussie icon when the televion ads came on us kids ran to the screen ,to own a 4 speed E49 Valiant Charger is like all your christmass at once ,GETYOUSOMEOFTHAT

Dear GasMonkey, dear Richard, I am a huge fan from the first episode on Discovery, and seeing this channel grow since then I have had alot of joy watching you and your guys.. But.. last few vids haven't been the same and I think that it has to do all with the leaving of Chase and not hearing anything about why he hast left.. Just adressing would help a lot I believe.. Phipps is cool, and the kid is fine.. But you need other guys that the public loves..
