That 56 is a former Southwestern Bell service truck. I just picked up a 67 F-100 short bed that is in better shape and you can make out the south western on the door and the bell logo. Had the same short bed utility box and same color as that one has in the jams. Even the rear bumper is exactly the same. Pretty cool!

Find a 86 Ford ranger ext cab.. I had one a standard manual trans. It was very tough lil truck. Mine was like a funky yellowish gold with a tan middle color. Was cool little truck with a v6.. I miss that truck.

I just went through the same thing with my Veloster but I didn’t burn my leg but I went to the AutoZone and the guy did the same thing and told me it was my alternator but when he was reading the machine it never even fluctuated on there gauge so I know it didn’t read anything plus he never had me start my car to get a reading correctly so when I decided I would buy me a multimeter and get reading . Hope your legs doing ok.

Hey Richard I had one of those 56 GMC it had a Pontiac V8 ran good except on passenger side the intake push rod would get clogged up and then you had to change the rocker and push rod would a while the you had to do it again only gave 500.00 for mine and it ran. How is my 57 doing?
