Listen up guys. Don't immediately trust anyone who feels too good to be true. Anyone who feels like the perfect friend within a short time of knowing them is likely manipulating you. Normal people take time to know each other. You need to earn one another's trust before you can be comfortable around each other. It's just how the world works; you have to earn good things. Therefore, be very skeptical of a person who's willing to give you the world or tells you that you're the most amazing person they've ever met, yet you haven't known each other for a significant period. Such people do that to make you dependent on their resources or approval, which is why they'll randomly hurt you, as that allows them to gauge how much control they have over you. Such individuals are typically driven by the need to control others so they can get you to do whatever they want.

@kren katbamon I was a very good husband. I wasn't perfect and made mistakes, but she turned out to be a narcissist that supplied emotional abuse. Toward the end I shut down and ended up grayrocking her. I wasn't that great of a husband at that point, but when you've dealt with years of emotional abuse you tend to leave or shut down.

A previous person I just separated ways with was like this. Could not separate personal from business. Had a boyfriend that she called a husband who did not do anything to financially help with or help do anything else to assist supporting her and her business goals. For some reason she stayed with him because I can only presume was for sex because no healthy human would even stay with someone that not only did that but also got hit abusively and had their property destroyed by them such as the work laptop. She pushed away her entire family and only allegedly kept them around for bailing her out of financial hardship because she herself wouldn't get a normal job to support herself even though she was doing a non profit business. It was always gaslighting people make her get things she wanted and even threatened to kill herself as way to make you feel bad about her situation and when you called her out on it she'd take whatever you said when it contradicted her narrative and it could appear as being an asshole when out of context and blasted that out on social media to get more people feeling bad for her to get more money for free. I am so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.

I think the premise of people being social is that you look for decent outcomes for yourself and we look for weakness in other people, which is pruning for instant gratification Human beings want to feel like they've got a good beat on things, so information which is foreign needs to reflect the same. A new person coming along offering sweet nothings has bypassed that natural skepticism to remain in the know So the trouble is, because we are inherently selfish, we are always on the beat to make ourselves righteous. On the other hand no in is going to look out for your well being but you. You just forgot that when an intrusion occurs, you needed to be in the driver seat in maintaining who you let come in and out of their lives. Otherwise someone who is not fit to maintain net positives will end up taking you for a ride
