I loved the psychedelic wackiness of this film back in 1967 when I was a youngster. But the soundtrack blew me away.

Burt Bacharach and Herb Alpert were such a dynamic musical talent in that era..."Casino Royale" and "This Guy's In Love" are all-time classics, and I dare anyone to compare today's crappy pop music to those classic masterpieces of the '60s.

Fun movie. In 1967 I had a crush on Joanna Pettet, who had a small part in the picture. (She plays the daughter of one of the Bonds; seen here at 1:04 to 1:08). She posed nude for Playboy a year later, so my love for her increased due to that. She also had the distinction of being one of Sharon Tate's luncheon guests only a matter of minutes before Charlie Manson burst in and murdered everybody in the house. That was in 1969. Then later in her life, Joanna received nearly a quarter million bucks in the will of British actor Alan Bates, in recognition of their "friendship" back in the 60s. I'm guessing he had a crush on her too.
