I got the negative display variant today. It is true that positive variant is more legible though it's not as bad as it seems on camera. If you want to go full utilitarian, buy the positive display. I'm very happy with the negative one though, it looks better.

Not really. Its viewing angle mainly. Yes front on there would be less glare perhaps, but you have to be face on to see this display.

bought the watch with the negative display some weeks ago, and its not a problem in the daily tasks with the viewangle. u can read the time very good. overall a very cheap but awesome watch, i never thought it. 😉

I love my negative display. It is much better visible in dark, with backlight. Because the digits are illuminated, and not the entire display. And during the day it is good to see, because the digits are so big. And when the sun shines on it, the digits have a beautiful golden shine to them. The watch as such does not have any spectacular features. A Casio b640 has more, for example. Its selling points are very good visibility, 10 year battery, 100m water resist and a very cool look. And the great price, of course. The build quality is what you expect from Casio. It's great! In all, i really like the watch.

I got the positive LCD one because it was cheaper, but kept cursing myself for not buying the ‘cooler’ one because it cost a few more bucks, but I’m eventually happy with my purchase..

I bought both, the negative sucks. You really need to have good ambient light to see the negative display, and you have to be viewing it straight on. If it's angled, it's hard, if not impossible to see.

I have one, the large display is great and is fun to wear. But honestly the strap is a bit uncomfortable to wear over a long period. Still love the watch though.

The negative displays looks more manly, hi tech as well n updated😎. But need a little efford 2 look in. The positive display is easier 2 read, but its look old fashioned and way more oldies with those LED backlite 😅. Anyway its worth to buy. Nice review, mate 😇😎🤩

The negative display digits are big enough that legibility isn't an issue ... Your lighting in the video is poor . Go outside with daylight and it's great .. The watch is awesome for the price point regardless ...

I live mostly inside. And that's honestly a very bright room with 2 full size fluro lights overhead. I wasn't a fan of they grey color either

I just got this watch in negative display. I knew what I was getting when I ordered it, but my main complaint is that the crystal scratched right away. I have Casios that I have dug ditches with, hiked with, fished with and not a mark on any of them. 2 days in with very light use and the AE 1500 has scratches all over the crystal. I know it's a $25 piece but still it's BS.

yeah... I'm guessing it's not any kind of crystal at all and just plastic soft AF. Will have to be careful with mine!

Knowing Casios, at this price range they're all usually acrylic crystal. They are scratch magnets, but can easily buffed with rubbing compound for cars, and finished with brasso or car wax. Or, if you're fancy, a tube of poly watch. I'd simply see scratch marks on the case and acrylic as battle damage or patina.

Wearing a rolex to review a Casio watch? £25 watch comparing to your £ thousands rolex (which is not really worth the money on value to me). Marketing genius from rolex, yes. Value for money, not so much. Casio value for money, yes. Don't get me wrong, I am not envious, if you can afford a rolex and you like them go for it of course by all means. I am just confused why you have a rolex on your wrist (luxury watch) reviewing a mere mortal watch. 🤔

I have a few luxury watches but I sometimes wonder why I spend so much money on Swiss mechanical watches whilst Casio offers such a variety, quality and quarts accuracy for the money.
