I love EL because its crisp and clean. I do however understand the practicality of 2 LEDs like in the AE-1200 and it's good enough for me.

if 1 led makes the whole screen visible like with thte lf20-w, how is 1 led practical enough?irony being the royal has 2 led and 10 year battery life while lf20-w has 3 years

EL More expensive to produce than LED? Skmei can do it for $ 7 watch. LED less consume power. For how much, compare to EL? Is there any data from casio to back up that statement? Iam Old Casio user. But nowdays Casio just play dirty...so you can upgrade from standar model to G-shock line up.
