I've had 3 of these watches over the last 20 years. True, my watches doesn't count my steps or tell me how hard I hit the tennis ball, but it does what a watch should do - - - it tells me the time :-) Thumbs up for this $15 watch.

On the hands not lining, the manual tells you to set the watch 5 minutes ahead, then turn it back counterclockwise to the correct time. This is supposed to align the hands

I don't think I've ever seen the second hand on a quartz watch hit the markers that consistently!

I picked up a casio oceanus and that thing is perfect in terms of functionality and hitting markers spot on without any variation. But also it's $500. I got a timex years ago that is cheap and hits the markers as well as this. But for $15, this does a respectable job.

I had been using (at work as well) this watch for 6 years and it's still as new (except for the strap that I exchanged immediately with an elastic one after buying it and it's still unused) and the first battery lasted 5 years. This thing it's great! I paid 5.67 to Amazon for it, and it's well worth to fit a new battery every time for the next many years....

Actually this model is very durable. I have had one for years when I worked as a truck mechanic. Yeah it is scratched and dinged all over but still works 100% and the band is ok too. So not as flimsy as one may think...

My wife has the champagne dial and she went swimming with the watch and it's still ticking 🤯 and I got the mw-59-7bvef and that watch is also simply but very durable 🤙👌and I've had it for year which is shocking 🤯

These are super easy watches to work on for budding watchmakers. I've properly aligned the hands on a couple already and the registration can be very good. The Miyota movement inside will run for many years. Tyler the creator used to wear one of these although a different yellow dial variant.

Casio 1330 module is a Miyota 2035. On my MQ-24s and MQ-71s I don't have any hand alignment issues. And, just in case you didn't know, MQ-71 is the same model but with lumed hands.

My favorite MQ-24 variant visually. Like you, I need the functionality of the F-91. Personal opinion: If I don't have the date, I'd just not wear a watch.

I have this watch and use it specifically when I am outside doing yardwork. I don't care if it gets beat up. It's inexpensive and works. Keeps time well. No complaints, other than I wish that Casio made this watch just a bit larger.

It actually lasted me 2 years as a beater. The lack of lume didn't bother me in the slightest-if I'm checking the time at night, I'm using my phone

Guys totally ignorant of what casio materials are 😂😂😂 the watch strap is proprietary resin that will never dry out and will likely be around longer than this reviewer is alive.. he comes off as absolutely clueless of what this product is or has to offer as a valuable affordable tool 😊

Very interesting. I was unaware that they used proprietary resin that does not deteriorate for decades on this watch. Do you have documentation regarding their materials used in this specific watch that you’re referencing because it must be a more durable material than is used on their others watches. I had the strap rot right off my DBC-30 after a few years of wear, and I have heard many stories and seen many resin straps on casio/g-shock watches requiring replacement. Thanks for shedding light on this because I do this for fun, it’s a hobby, and I’m always looking to learn. Thanks for sharing the information.

I have the lume variant, and have a similar font! MQ71, bought that from the official Casio retailer in my country, there's an unboxing video in my channel. More cheaper than that, lesser than 10 bucks. And the lume is surprisingly brighter than my 99 bucks automatic watch. I also syncronized to my phone time, fair watch for that price.
