Casio F91W Digital Camo | Hydro Dipping

I tried hydro dipping for the first time and all I can say is that's a messy process. I can see how with a proper technique the end result could be amazing, but this is not the case.
My Digital Camo Casio F91W turned out a little flawed. Could be a poor preparation or just my inability to follow instructions. Anyway, many of you liked the picture I posted earlier, so I here's the video. Thanks for watching.

You'll need a special film to do that. It's easiest to buy a hydro dipping kit. It comes with film, activator and primer.

I’ve seen some people hydro dip parts before and clear coat over it. How durable do you think the dip layer is?

Not durable at all. I did clear coat it, all the scuffs you see happened while washing after dipping.

@@Techsas I use spray paint to hydro dip stuff, you can swirl your colors and get a camo look and I find it to be fairly furable

hey! great video :) after you pop the plastic crystal off the case, how do you clean the adhesive gunk form the crystal without ruining the print on the front?

@@danebeck7900 hey! I finally took a chance and did this with my casio. Turns out there wasn't a lot of glue stuck to the crystal, so I was able to lightly scrape it off with a piece of plastic (I used a disposable spoon).

Mi bands are too narrow and apple are too wide, so there's not much you can do about it. But you might be able to the right size on aliexpress.

This looks so cool, but the durability is the problem. It would be easier to do on a DW-5600 since the case is seperate. This tempts me to try it on my Square, but i would rather buy a seperate case for this. Is there a way to increase durability?

It's important to clear coat after dipping, that's really all you do make it more durable.
