In Brasil the original costs R$150, and the fake costs R$15 So they have very different prices outside USA

I'd stashed away two F-91W watches a few years ago because of broken straps. When I found them again and checked, one of them disappointingly had Japan DH on the back and luckily the other one said China DH. I've put a new watch strap on the older original watch.

The best way is to hold down for 3 seconds the right button. if will display casio ,then is original .

exactly my case, my guess is that fakes are becoming indistinguible from originals so at this point it's a lost fight.

The way I understand it is that they used to be made in Thailand, but are now made in China. Slight differences between the two may apply, such as brushing orientation on the back plate, but no big differences. There is more material on this on KZbin if you search for it.
