Do you get the fx-991DE X in USA? It is the German version of the ClassWiz 991EX. It has those functions like Product, remainder division, Int, Intg etc. which the 115ES plus has.

Not that I know of, but it can be ordered online through amazon.

One advantage the 115 has over the 991 is LCM and GAS which can be a huge time saver.
@OnePunchMath3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it appears that the CLASSWIZ does not have the LCM or GCF functions built in. I just scrolled through the entire user manual to verify this.

Is it true you dont have LCM and GCD on the new FX991ex? And also the peeiodic decimal conversion. Also. We in Italy don t have the 115es... what is it? Our line up (classwiz only) is 82 350 (which have the same functions on the site) and the 991. I ve seen the fx991ES 2nd ed and other models.. but it seems confusing.
@OnePunchMath3 жыл бұрын
Yes, however there is a FACT function which will give the Prime Factorization of a number. You can use that to help find the LCM and GCD of a set of numbers. I personally would go with the 991 over any other Casio model based on the cost/functionality ratio.
@Centar19643 жыл бұрын
The CASIO FX-JP900-N does and a periodic table too!

Is it possible to do polynomial simultaneous equations on the classwiz?
@OnePunchMath3 жыл бұрын
No, just linear simultaneous equations. DESMOS is a good, free alternative if you just need help with checking your manual solutions. It only gives decimal approximations for the points of intersection, but it's super easy to use.
@rachellua54813 жыл бұрын
@@OnePunchMath fair enough, I don't think examiners would like the idea of me not showing my working out during polynomial simultaneous equations. Indeed desmos is good

have you noticed that you would be loosing at least one nice feature in that upgrade ? the repeating decimals input+output is lost

For some reason, I’m not able to sort the data within the list. I’m in a statistics class & the list must be sorted to solve the problem.
@OnePunchMath4 жыл бұрын
As far as I can tell there is no way to sort a list in the Casio fx115es plus or the Casio fx991ex Classwiz.

There seem to be missing functions on the CLASSWIZ; the matrix, vector, etc buttons on the keypad are missing. Also, the PreAns is missing as well.
@arielkuz4 жыл бұрын
Those functions can be found by pressing the OPTN button, which can choose modes (matrices, vector, etc)
@OnePunchMath4 жыл бұрын
As far as I can tell, the Ans button serves the same function as the PreAns function, so that doesn't seem to be a big issue. On the CLASSWIZ, the OPTN button seems to take the place of the MATRIX, VECTOR, ect. functions on the 115ES PLUS. I was very disappointed to find that the CLASSWIZ does not have the Ref and Rref functions for matrices that the 115ES PLUS has. Thanks for sharing!
