I just got this calculator (recently graduated as a vet!) And hate doing fluid/drug calculations on my phone... It has the functions I need but I'm so glad I found this vid - thank you for posting! I need 100% confidence in how to drive my calc if I'm using it to confirm drug dosages and fluid plans, and I was feeling a bit nervous about it since it's so different to my fx-570es plus 😅

You seem to be on the right track. Getting to know your calculator and how it works is the best way to lower your anxiety for your exam. Best thing to do is to make the errors and mistakes and understand how the calculator works overall. With time and effort you’ll be able to master the calculator and you won’t besecond-guessing yourself. Good luck.

This calculator will easily/quickly do ∆% (percent of change) problems... just like fancy HP's! It's ezpz functionality not often found in non HP calculators. Enter the 'new value' [ - ] 'old value' [ shift ] [ % ]; and thats it! (Remember with this calculator, it's new 'value first', then 'old value'.) Doing so is actually documented on the 'User Guide' poster... see example 7 under 'Percentage Calculations'.

How would I enter log base 1/5 (125) into the calculator

Try this. Log 125 / log (1/5) that should give you the answer. That’s the trick when your long is a different base, you use log base 10 instead. If you have the answer, then you can check this answer on your Calculator. Good luck tell us if that worked. Don’t forget to subscribe and tell your friends and your teacher.

How do I use the Sin, Cos and Tan function?

Just type a number and then press on the SIN button. You will see an answer. If you need RADIANS, then you will need to press the mode button. Good luck!

You can't, only if you start off with a fractions using the a b/c button like 1/3 + 4/3 = then you get 1 2/3 then press a b/c you get 1.66666 then a b/c and you get 1 2/3.
