Casio G-Shock G-7900-1 review

Hello! Today I present you another one of my totally unexpected purchases that I am really happy to share with you. This Casio G-7900-1 series G-shock came into my possession for 17 dollars with no signs of wear, it also came without box and papers. I love the smaller frame of this watch compared to the size of my daily wear, Mudmaster GGB-100. I needed this watch for the tide feature for fishing and beach camping trips. It’s an awesome timepiece, glad to find one still available in 2022!

Can you edit the the World Times? Because I live in California and when I click to MX time it is behind a couple of Hours when it should be ahead 2 hours

I've had it for 11 years, and the battery still works, though the backlighting isn't as bright.

*_The watch’s thickness is perfect. I also have the GW-7900. Hooray for big watches._* *_I do concur that the band w/ the double notch would be perfect. Those are my favs. I have a GW-M850-7CR & a GW-9200 with the double notched bands. I want the black GW-M850 as well._*

WatchesChecked *_’Preciate that. I have more. My favorite G-Shocks are the Tough Solar/Atomic. My first one was the GW-300 back in ‘06, & since I’ve been hooked. Still have it too. But I bought another one because that bad boy has been through it._* *_I’m bout like you though. If I can procure a pre-owned but pristine Casio at a hefty discounted price, its bait & I’m the shark!!_* *_Nice vid & review. It was short but sweet._*

That's the thing, the first g-shock is the bait that gets you hooked, I am constantly looking for deals after my first G-9000 mudman, and you can come across some great ones for very little money like this one. Even tho it's not cheap, they are the most reliable and fun to wear watches till this day for me :)

Great watch but I have the black one and want to get the red one I've got an orange Gshock good protection so the glass doest crack ive got 4 Gshocks the only thing I dont like is the light it doesn't have much life span in it got to keep replacing it every so often

Is it true that when the light is on, and you press a button, the light will go off? That would make it impossible to adjust the settings in the dark. Great review, thanks

Hello, So I need a tough watch for the military as I am joining soon. I'm stuck between 3 choices, 1. GX56BB 2. GA700UC 3. G7900 So, which one would you suggest? Any help would be appreciated!

They are all very tough and reliable, but if it was my choice I would choose the GA7900, it's the best looking one for me. But maybe the GX56BB is more military stiled..Sorry for the late reply.
