How many years does the non solar one last

In my experience non-solar G-shocks last up to 8-10 years until the battery dies. I've had one that went up to 11 years and it was a "5-year" battery. It all depends on how you use it. If you're using the backlight multiple times a day and using a lot of the functions all the time then it will shorten the battery life.
