Casio G-Shock GA-010 Complete Review: an upgrade to GA-700 that we want

Just bought this today as my first ana-digi gshock since I mostly wear digital gshock and I really do like it. At first I was considering the GA 2100 but because of the the bezel warping issue on the resin case and I got no time for modding it to the steel strap and bezel (another unnecessary expenses) or the budget for an all steel model so I gravitated towards this model and I'm glad that I bought this one.

Congratulations. The LED lights (for the analog hands) on this model also works better imo.

how do you turn up the glow in the dark light? when it turns green?

It emits the light by itself, no button or operation needed

That's the lume applied on the hands.

I think I prefer the GD-010. Having all those other things under the hands kind of defeats the whole point of going analog. This is one case where going negative display actually helps

Wow, that's interesting. I never thought of it that way, but I can really relate to your idea now. If someone is not using the stopwatch, etc. too often, then the benefit of placing a negative display under analog hands will outweigh it's legibility issue.
