Casio LCW-100 vs EFV-100 (Casio Watch Showdown 2024 Series)

I wanted to compare the Casio LCW-100 against the EFV-100.
Part of the Casio Lineage line, the LCW-M100 is a solar-powered, radio-controlled watch that adjusts to multiple time zones. It features Multi-Band 6 technology for automatic time calibration and a world time function. The LCW-M100 also includes a stopwatch, countdown timer, and daily alarms, blending a modern look with advanced functionality.
The Casio EFV-100 is part of the Edifice series, which focuses on sports and speed-inspired designs. This analog watch features a stainless steel case and water resistance up to 100 meters. Its clean, minimalist dial includes a date display, and the overall design emphasizes precision and functionality, perfect for everyday wear.

5 of my 15 Edifices are EFV-1XX (100, 140 and 140) and I love these simple and elegant entry level Edifices. Unfortunately Lineage series watches aren’t available here in India, so I may never get to see a Lineage leave alone owning one !

I think the Lineage is worth getting, at least one. To me, the titanium versions are a step below the Oceanus line in terms of features. But the Oceanus line is aesthetically better, in my opinion.

I have the white dial with numerals, its becoming my favorite watch but do want to get a stainless steel model for the heft too!

The titanium feels great. It's light, but I like it. Tried an Oceanus in titanium and I'm convinced of how great it can feel.

I'd say Lineage w/ grey dial and 100D with blue or silver - so they serve for different occasions. Latter is a more hefty watch, though.

This watches are great in white, grey, blue, what else color is there. I never say never - were going to purchase this Lineage, that Lineage and ended up with a whole different dial, still like it a lot. Wish I could find 37mm version of 100D, but they are gone.

I've actually expanded my collection to include a couple of Oceanus watches. Not sure when those reviews will be coming, but they are nice. 😄
