Removing the link from a modern casio watch with a metal band. You need two small screwdrivers, a paperclip and a pair of pliers.

Extra caution should have been advised when removing the spring loaded pin, as upon pressing both sides the pin shot out and was never to be seen again.

So glad I found your video. I got the same exact watch recently. I used a Bergeon 6767-F Spring Bar tool and the small pliers from my Swiss Army Knife to adjust the bracelet. Now I know why the pliers were needed. You just saved me the Uber trip and $20 bucks needed for adjustment. Thank you very much! Folks, definitely get yourself the Bergeon tool. And maybe a swiss army knife that includes a pair of pliers. They are major lifesavers. The Bergeon 6767-F has two sides: one pronged side which I used for the areas with the arrows to push out the flat parts, and one slightly rounder side which I used in substitution of the paperclip.

Thank you so much. Merci beaucoup. Very useful. Works well on a Casio MTP-1310D. To take out completely the link once it is stood out, I let the screwdriver in the hole and tap it very gently with a hammer to let it out completely. It was more efficient for me on this model.

Grat vid. I ended up using a safety pin for removing the spring pin, and a Pen for pushing iut the flat pins. It should be noted that the pen will get a little scratched.

Thanks. But I have never had a watch before that was this difficult to shorten the bracelet. I find it nearly impossible to remove the links. Too much force needed, and high risk of scratching. Like much modern technology this one is not user-friendly at all.
