The DW291 could definitely do with more color ways from Casio. It's one of their future classic watches I think. It has all the right features and it's built very well for a budget watch.

Both models are very good…DW291 is a must buy..for its simplicity and features.. good video..strap swap with AE1500,, another should have Casio watch .. for budget 😊Casio starters..

A flieger double studded leather strap might look good here. Especially since 55 mm watches had them. The question is would you want one on a cheap watch?

Can you put a Nato strap on it ?

You can use 18mm nato strap,or you can use nato strap adapter if you want to use 22 or 24 mm strap. The adapter is similar to g-shock strap adapter, but g-shock adapter is 16mm lug size.

are there any casio square digital watches with the big display size like on the tan watch?

Not that i know of, except the Casio GBX-100 line. Those displays are sqaure and nice and big, but also much more expensive
