@@privateuser9303 Yeah no... I own a T200 and have a T4000 on the way... I also own two GSs and one happens to be a 9F. You can't even compare the two... The 9F is a hand assembled movement, finished and way more luxurious than these 55xx modules. Something goes wrong with the 9F, a good watchmaker can sort that out for you... The Oceanus module, not so much. The 9F doesn't need radio wave (that works half the time) or Bluetooth to be accurate, mine does +4s/year all on its own! The Solar on the Oceanus is nice, but the 9F is on another level of craftsmanship.
@El1988Che3 жыл бұрын
You should look into the new VHPs from Longines. Their L288 movement (also available in GMT and Chrono), is nothing to sneeze at! It's packed with features, has a perpetual calendar, a gears detection system that can realign the hands in case of a hard shock or magnetism and has an accuracy rating of +-5s/year! I own an Oceanus T200 (T4000 in the mail), a GS SBGX261 9F and the Longines VHP L288 (blue dial), and the Longines is doing +3s/year all on its own... Great review, Rob. STUNNING watch!!!! I have just received mine today from a retailer in Osaka, and it looks amazing. Set it using the bluetooth app. downloaded onto my mobile phone. The fit and finish of the whole watch is absolutely top notch. The dial is 'to die for', as can be seen in your video, it is more a cobalt blue in natural light. Colour renderings/advertising of this timepiece on websites do this watch no justice whatsoever. You should be on commission from Casio. Keep up the good work. How many apps have we all seen that have been discontinued or left without updates and are now rather useless?

I am assuming it probably tells the time just as well when not on bluetooth, and is more needed if you cross timezones. At the end of the day, a quartz watch is not alot of things, but inaccurate isn't one of them.

You only need bluetooth for timezones that are offset by 0.5 hours, like India for example, as you can only adjust by full hours through the watch.

I have a Casio Edifice (model number too long and unmemorable) with most likely the same internal modules as that Oceanus as it seems to have all that same functionality. Overall great watch especially considering all the function and tech it includes. Has that "CasiOak" octagonal look. Nice watch. The bracelet is a little disappointing (folded links, stamped clasp) and it's integrated so no swapping. The subdial markings could have used a different shade to provide better legibility. So the fit and finish may not quite be Oceanus level, but it's still quite good. Hard to dismiss these Casios especially as everyday watch. It has become my go to when I don't want to think about what watch to wear, or am heading out in a hurry.
