You should use your spreader gate. It would work much better for you. You can set it to spread how ever thick you want it.

You leave the gate closed on the side and open it at the bottom and chain to where it can only open 4 or 5 inches you can get you a rope to tie to it so you can release the gate from the cab.

damn good investment! you should just paint some Rinoline or whatever in the bed to protect it but otherwise it must be fun to have a lot of property. the port looks way better and it's in the right place. I didn't know where it was when you were building it but it makes the driveway look better!

You should be using crusher run for your driveway,some people know it as 2A limestone 3/4inch down to dust.

I got the 12 footer and when I got ready to build the sides on it 3 months later I found out the holes where the 2x4 ‘s stakes go into are 1/4 “ to narrow . Manufacturing defects . I called the sales agent up an told him , he suggested I shave that off the 2x4 ‘s . I didn’t push the issues because I wasn’t feeling good because I had come down with the shingles really bad in fact my doctor said he never saw a case as bad as mine , it Took 7 months for it to become bearable . I thought about grinding the opening wider but then the powder coating would be compromise . Other than that , I like the trailer and the sales person threw in a new spare for my trouble . I paid $6500 ( Tax included )cash and it was new .
