I just received my Paula's Choice retinol 1% in the mail, I'm so excited to try it out. Thank you Cassandra for introducing me into the world of skincare, you and your videos have helped me so much! I have oily-combo dehydrated blemish prone textured skin. I started skincare in January and got a chemical burn in February because I used a BHA serum as an eye serum. And one of your videos about flaky skin helped me recover from it. Now my skin is healthy and hydrated, and I started using 1% retinol in June and all my acne and texture has dissipated. I never thought I could be using retinol at 13 but it turned to be one of my favorite ingredients!

Would you say IL PHA Toner is better? - I've never actually seen the ACV peel in store so I didn't know that existed. - Hyaluronic Acid for $90???? They out their mind!!! - $75 eye cream????????? - I love IL Retinol but I would never pay $85 for a retinol alternative

@@kaivickers166 No, I've never tried their GA toner. Of the two that they offer, the Niacinamide had better reviews and my skin is tricky with full on GA so I was trying to be cautious. I made the best decision for my skin cause the hyperpigmentation is just vanishing before my eyes and I've had no irritation at all. I have alot of different GM products: pineapple exfoliant, rose cleansing gel, dark spot correcting serum, niacinamide toner, and my skin loves them all.

I love the inkey list! I use the HA Serum, VitC and EGF serum, retinol, PHA toner, and the peptide moisturizer. My skin is so radiant and smooth. I wish they would come out with a SPF 50 to complete my all inkey list routine!

If anyone else notices the Xanthan Gum, I looked it up. Xanthan gum in skin care is used as a thickening agent, texture enhancer, and to stabilize emulsions, which is a general term for mixtures of unlike substances such as oil and water. (I have seen it listed in so many products and was curious)

Hi Cassandra ! I'm 25 and I've never had a sckincare. I have ever learned anything about beauty or skin, my parents were not into it at all. My child and teenager face skin was flowless but I was dealing whith bad eczema. One day (I was 18) my eczema just go away but my first pimples appear (just a few that I think it's hormonal acne) and Dermatilomania introduce herself all over my face 🤡 Now I'm an adulte and I've never see my skin clear. Just one pimples or blackhead and dermat. makes me ruine all my face, I hate it. I start watching your videos and and it's inspiring me to learn to take care of my skin. I think the packaging is a factor here. But I agree, it's possible that going by $ per ounce or milliliter, the SKKN products are a better value. But I doubt it. I think the SKKN packages are designed to look like you're getting more product. And the packages 'are' attractive although I personally don't care about that.

Actually I just looked at SKKN website and the sizes of all her products are very standart and comparable to the inkey list. All skkn $90 serums are 30ml and the toner is 150ml, cleanser is 125ml, face cream 50ml. Very basic. The packaging definitely makes it look like you get more but nope, same size as the inkey list.

Ignore my rant 😆: I wanna try the collagen! Gotta check first if it's MF/FA safe. I love that Cassandra explains how the products work so well 🥰 I found out that I have FA and my skincare was the reason for it (All of them except 2) luckily I had the Pyungkang Yul Essence Toner and the Cosrx Snail Essence. Altho she does not use the Snail but she made me buy the Pyungkang Yul toner and it's hydrating enough until the FA safe skincare arrives. I have to stay inside the house for 2 weeks because I had no sunscreen to use 🤣 because they aren't FA safe.
