Ah yes luxury regrets, the pieces that didn't quite work out the way I hoped... so these are the luxury items I wouldn't buy again and what I'd buy instead, should something happen to them. One of the perils of buying luxury items is the fact that for some of them you really don't know they're going to work out for you until you give them a good go, so here are my semi...kind of luxury regrets....ENJOY!

On the Balenciaga stuff that we bought prior the controversy. I also bought their sneakers with my best intentions and wore them maybe 3 times before it became a No Go. After a couple of months of feeling super uncomfortable wearing them I decided I’m gonna use them. I know I am totally against what they did, other people can think what they want. But really most people, you’re gonna meet on the streets, have no idea what happened. For our community it was a big thing, but worldwide just a brief news that people only read the headlines and forgot. But if those people have something against you wearing clothes you spent your hard earned money on, they are free to buy them from you/me and burn them. I definitely won’t buy any new ones, but just wasting a piece of expensive clothes isn’t a right and conscious thing either. I understand that for you being an influencer, posting your outfits online, there is a unnecessary high risk of unnecessary criticism...

You should care, because of your self, not what others think. I have a lot of there stuff, so does my 12 year daughter too. I don't wear it, I did throw it away, and I don't want to be connected to some brand like that, because of my self, not others. Because having there stuff now is a statement, and a bad one. I'm not an influencer, obviously, but everybody knows what happened. My reputation as a business woman, a mother, and in general an intelligent woman would be ruined. Again you where this on your face.

Fendi is a bit disappointing with certain items as of lately. Not only the shoes, but I also heard quite a few stories about the bag handles breaking (Not fabric, but the plasticy kind) and even already arriving broken. I feel like that with all of my designer items, I have had no such issues as holes and such thus far. Fingers crossed 🤗

I feel the same way. Lately I’ve been looking at the leather baguettes (I have some vintage early 2000s pieces that I love and was considering the updated version) and compared to my 2006 one they feel… well, different. Same for the canvas pieces, I have a Pequin Boston bag and it just feels more robust. I do realize that those fashion houses work on their materials to make them softer, lighter etc. and don’t want to enter the ‚it used to be better’ chat but in some instances it just feels like it actually did.

I completely understand your Balenciaga dilemma. I have a couple of city bags pre Demna, but because of the scandal I don’t feel comfortable wearing them. I think when there is a change at Balenciaga (ie goodbye Demna) it’ll be fine to wear what we have, because we aren’t supporting what happened.

Ah the Balenciaga dilemma. I have a $3K hourglass bag that I almost sold but decided to keep because it's cute, unique & practical! I think that with all scandals people will forget. D&G is making their comeback. Time heals all wounds.

It's certainly not a comfortable topic, but the people who judge you the most are the victims of that abuse in their childhood. I would totally go and bring the shoes back to Fendi. It is eventually a quality flaw. Two months?? They have to refund. Some credit card companies also guarantee quality for much longer than that time so I’d really look into that. Ok, proceeding to look the video further 😂😘

This is always the saddest part about building a collection. There will be pieces you fall in love with, but some time passes and for one reason or another, you're filled with regret over them. There are numerous pieces from the start of my collection that I have never even worn like this beautifully loud but ornate Moschino jacket and pants set, or my wonderfully oversized SS20 fashion show edition Lacoste polo, or the teal suede Dunhill sneakers, or the several Bottega RTW pieces that I thought were my style. The list unfortunately goes on! Then of course when I found pieces that were very much my style from Balenciaga, I had to retire those as well. I'm happy that the list of luxury item purchases you're not happy with is on the smaller side for you!

yes!! the first time I wore my Prada sneakers was horrendous, but I think mine broke in after a few more shorter outings. She's still a half day kind of a shoe for me, but thankfully no longer painful and very comfortable now.

Cassie sis I bought the multi pochette because I saw your vid right when it dropped 😂 I immediately went on a hunt & wore it a lot! Now I tend to use it more for its parts. I use the smaller pochette for clubbing, both pochettes on the shoulder for dinners, the strap for my Palm Springs mini and the coin pouch for random bobs lol I wouldn’t sell, I’d repurpose each part tbh

I’m tallying up the amount of items on your regret list that I also have and am too stubborn to admit that they may or may not have also disappointed me in some way. (I do love my Fendace matches, and they’ve not failed me, my multi pochette still brings me joy, though lately the men’s bag collection impresses me quite a bit more than the women’s. My Prada double wheel sneakers (I have them in 2 colors) have made me bleed more times than I’m willing to admit 😂 I love the chain cassette, but it’s your review that ultimately deterred me from purchasing it.) At the end of the day though, I stick by all my purchases (and I know you do too, and this is all in good fun), but hindsight sure is 20/20! 😂

I tend to avoid logos in general because i don't want it to be obvious how i spend my money. Knowing how a person can massively mess up a brand, my choice felt very validating. If I owned anything Balenciaga or bared their name, I'd put off wearing it until they change creative directors

sometimes i get a feeling that if a luxury item is duped, i no longer want it because there’s probably something similar i’d like or the brand is the only reason, not my need for some sort of practicality. that being said, i adore blumarine because i always feel there’s something new and innovative from them. i’m considering getting their costume cross earrings + pink pants or a skirt set because i love the colors and designs and i usually spend less more on basics. i used kibbe type and color season to rule out what i do/don’t want and it keeps me from ill advised purchases

I feel it… I bought a few shoes this past year that I thought I needed and now I’m considering selling… Not just shoes, I have quite a few luxury purchases I bought that I would never replace (In fact, I’ll probably get rid of them). I also preordered the Gucci x Balenciaga Horsebit bag, and I had a bit of the same feelings when I was wearing the bag. I use it less now, and it’s a shame when you just adored something and someone else’s actions changed how it made you feel. When the multi pochette came out I knew it was a trendy piece and wanted something similar but more classic and I went with the new wave pochette. I have not regretted that. I love it and not too many ppl have it. Totally elevates any outfit I wear with it. So, I suggest that as an alternative. Not as much space but it make up in style 😂

My favourite wallet is a stamped steel card case. It is scuffed as any thing but that gives it more of a patina than distressed look. My only problem is I'm Canadian. Cassie - any brand have to by law refund the money if the item broke within 6 months or even 2 years (Loewe has confirmed this). They were not fit for purpose. If anything happens to the item within short period of time with normal use they must refund. Period.

I love my double bow heels, i have it in an emerald green. I wanted the pink but Barbiecore was everywhere when I was choosing a colour and so i had fatigue from alllll the pink everywhere. 😅 luckily i have the updated one so no stones falling off. 15:34 I still wear my necklace and I bought the jacket at over after market price because I saw it on you and also thought it was so cool. I bough the Gucci hour glass, twilly, the balenciaga belt from Balenciaga side and the long pumps and the balenciaga triple S. all the same pattern and I wear almost all but the jacket cus is always hot in Texas around this time. So don’t feel bad do you any ways Balenciaga ain’t going no where is all the same owner. Balenciaga was going up but had to mess up like this so now it is back to the bottom and starting at below -100 again but is a quite brand back again that is what I used to like about before it went south following Moschino but in a goth no spunky way.

I brought the LV coin purse, in blue, because of you 😊 but hated it, loved the colour and quality though 😂 so sold it on. I have had shoes that have done me badly dirty, which I couldn’t even look at again, never mind wear 😡 and my Balenciaga stuff I wear in the dark, I still need to get my cost per wear. The Fendi trainer issue … that would make me SOOOOO mad 😢 that shouldn’t happen at that price !!

Mine would be the Kelly 35. Purposely wanted a BBE but then was told to not stuff the bag so much to ensure the single handle's longevity. PS I don't have anything from D&G and Balenciaga

I was surprised when you said the Kelly pocket wallet and didn’t mention the lock poking out! That’s usually the first complaint. I have one in black w/ GHW and I really love it, I pack it to the gills 🤣. It stores my keys, money, cards and coins yet it doesn’t look bulky at all. I think it’s because mine is in Madame leather, so it’s really pliable and soft. What kind of leather is your wallet in? Maybe it’s too stiff? In any case, if you sell it you’ll definitely make your money back.

Also with the balenciaga scandal, every single designer company has had their issues. Prada with racism, Gucci with racism, and more. I still have my items, and I’ll still wear them. I spent my money on them and nobody is about to play moral gymnastics with me. You should not feel guilt or shame in something you have no control over and no participation in!
