Absolutely stunning. My mother worked on some of the systems for ISS(purification systems) and is currently working on the SLS project (main stage separations). which is pretty funny as she is a devout Christian and thinks that we are not meant to leave this planet. Saturn is my favorite and always has been(short of our home). I remember doing a project on it in middle school. Space is in my blood. I watched all of the feeds when they did the final burn into the atmosphere. Mega chills and mega cudos my friend. Fantastic score and equally fantastic presentation. Subbing right now. Keep up the good work and fly safe CMDR.

I feel like they should place another camera on these satelites. Like a gopro or something Just for shots that actually look nice
@goodsirmortimer32077 жыл бұрын
They probably put much better cameras on more current satellites, but as mentioned, it's worth noting Cassini was launched 20 years ago. What you're seeing is probably the best camera tech they had in 1997
@GhostGiraffe7 жыл бұрын
They are doing that these days. Though this probe was designed in the late 80's and built in the early 90's so it was pretty awesome for that time. Another thing we need is a better relay between our deep space missions. The bandwidth for the larger images are so high that it takes up time from the hard science data from being sent. They actually had to shut down the cameras for the final plunge because the bandwidth needed to relay the images from Saturn to Earth would have never made it and no science data would have made it to Earth either. Hope they get things like that down for the next round of planetary missions.
