I must thank you for your visual rendering of Cassis. We just visited there last week on a half day pop in. You captured it’s essence. It is a magical place. Great to sit at a cafe and take in the ambiance. Your music bed was also perfect. Bravo

Growing up in the 70's in a town about 10 km away, my entire summers were spent on this beach and in our boat parked right in front of the beautiful restaurants where you were eating. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video.

Is the free shuttle bus you mentioned between Cassis Station and the town the bus M01? I am planning a France trip for September and just trying to figure out if it is feasible to access Cassis without a car.
@lemongrassdesigngroup750Ай бұрын
I have the same question. Also going in September :)
@barrieoneil8544Ай бұрын
@@lemongrassdesigngroup750 There is a local bus in Marseilles route 78 that is only 3 euros - get Metro to Castellane for first stop (both lines go there 2 stops from train station). It only takes 37 minutes and the route is amazing going along the coast, national park and calanques (in Marseilles it also goes past the Corbusier building and Stade Velodrome). It runs once an hour and to a strict timetable. You can pay on bus cash or contactless. All the locals get this bus as it is faster than train and stops in centre of Cassis (Gendarmerie).

I have a bunch of recommendations in my blog post here: www.eternal-expat.com/2022/03/24/things-to-do-in-cassis-france/ But my favorite was probably Monsieur Brun. Enjoy your trip, it's such a beautiful part of the coast!

!Hola! Found you while researching Todos Santos, MX. Funny, you're in my hood now, you should check out Bandol and Le Castellet Var (I was born in Toulon) but I digress ... También estamos buscando un pueblo donde no necesitemos un coche, cerca del mar, hay mercados, of course is affordable for digi nomads etc. Do you have such as "short list" Merci mille fois!

La Paz and San Jose del Cabo are great if still interested in Baja, otherwise Puerto Vallarta is another great option, Puerto escondido (although wifi can be hit or miss here it’s a beautiful part of the country).

If you only had one port day in Marseilles, would you skip and go into Cassis instead?
