Even with the grid up, I am cooking and cooling. I am not connected to the system, so I have to make all my own power up there. The owl has come back to visit, which sounds cool, but it really means I have things it likes to eat i.e. mice.

Essentially...as long as you don't add in the $800 power source, the $30 cooker, or the $160 solar panels. Needless to say, I have to cook a ton more brats to break even on that cook method.
