wilbert kim his point might be that one need to feed about 1400 lbs to raise a 360 lbs pig. You could feed way more people with this 1400 lbs instead of wasting them and raise a single pig which would feed less people. With that being said, I would not want to live in a world without slow smoked pork belly. What I do is, I consume lesser but higher quality, organic meat.

Florida has Disney World, but also true southern bbq. Along with river shacks that sell catfish, gator tail etc. Low taxes and no pleasure police. Fl is the best bang for the buck.

I made some slow cooked pork loin on my grill when my ex-wife's sister and her boyfriend came down. I can vouch for the whole "being in a good mood" translating to the meat. The loin came out with a beautiful crust, tender, moist, and a great smoke ring. My sister-in-law's boyfriend praised my dish to high heaven. Def gave me the bug. Been planning on building my own bonafide bbq pit in the near future.

Been all over the south. Been to a few bbq tournaments. Best BBQ I have ever had in my life belongs to Robert's BBQ in Haskell, Oklahoma. Everyone around here cried when that man died, we all still drool to this day thinking about his bbq and the recipes he took to the gave with him.
