10:35 I believe that is either a painted turtle, or a red-eared slider. I used to have a painted turtle as a pet when I was a kid. I caught it as a hatching and kept it for 12 years before my step-dad let it go while I was out of the house. I might still have it to this day(18 years) if he didn't do that. Neat animals turtles are.

Absolutely a snapping turtle. A baby.. but absolutely. You can tell by its mouth .. it’s sharp and pointed and you can tell by its tail it’s a stubby little thing!

Sometime you need to come up here to Alaska and catch some real fish. 25+ lbs salmon, 24 inch rainbows, huge bourbot that look like prehistoric water eels. 50+ pound halibut. Your fishing looks fun, but my fish are bigger :)

Its not really a comparison thats like saying somebodys ten pound bass isn't an accomplishment because you've caught an 11 pound catfish. Salmon fishing is fun for the fight but doesn't require much skill of unless your fly fishing.

I will say that live bait fishing ain't hard but most bass fishing (with lures and baits) does take skill

I'm just saying that his fish are fun, but it's like catching minnows when you can catch kings. Also it isn't easy to catch kings. Normally you can't just go outside and catch a handful of them, takes longer to catch them and the fight they put up is huge. I do agree that fly fishing takes more skill than rod and reel, and that all types of fishing takes skill. I haven't ever caught a bass like those, but I have caught rockfish here in Alaska that look pretty similar. Here I would just use herring, but yeah down there you have to choose between all the specialty lures like fake worms,those craink/swim baits, etc.. Nice bass! Just more interested in catching Salmon. It would be so cool if you ever did a video of fishing in Alaska because as far as I gave found we don't have many big fishing KZbinrs down here. Fish on and Tight lines!
