Unpopular opinion here: although it technically was Lauren’s show, she really did add much to it. Just started a rewatch and I’m amazed how different things come across now. I think the whole narrative was forced onto the viewer and there wasn’t really much room to form your own opinions. Heidi and Spencer were the villains whereas everything Lauren did and said was truth. I know that a lot of the story lines were scripted but that actually makes it worse considering Lauren pretty much never looked like she’s enjoying herself. She was more concerned with playing victim and passing blame and had no interesting storyline of her own.

They needed krystin back honestly. I loved the hills when it was first on tv. Only thing that annoyed me with New beg. season 1 was that u could tell none of these people were really friends anymore and they were only doing stuff together again to film and get that check!! I think there should've been more transparency on that front. But i guess maybe all reality shows do that and we just don't know. And i will def watch season 2 -- ain't shit on streaming due to covid.

Kristin is only appearing for one episode though. It was a trade thing with Audrina and Heidi since both of em showed up on "Real Cavallari." But I think with how busy she is now, Kristin's past the full-time reality TV thing. She's even said she's not doing "The Hills" full-time anymore.
