I fish Castaic as well, never been back there probably because i'm a shore angler and its probably a pain to walk all the way back there. But now after seeing this video I am encouraged to go back there and save as much fish as possible, thank you for your concern, fish lives matter.

Henry you sound like a very Smart Guy !! It has been said that Some Fish it at Night in Kayak's I would be concerned about the Coyote's and Bob Cats that hang back there as well as Snakes I actually had not 1 but 2 Rattlers swim 15 feet in front of me lol I was hoping they would have swam towards me so I could Title it COBRA KILLS 2 RATTLESNAKES !! I think it would have gone Viral lol. Lucky for them : )~ Cobra : )~

I was Frantic to get him in that deep Water lol. Robert said he couldn't hear me when I was yelling for him to get over here to grab the BASS and take him out to the Channel. What's cool is where I through him is the end of a Old Creek Bed and it's 3' 4" Deep compared to the 1' 6" on the Bank. Ethan I use the Coffee to Wind them down aka CALM Them from the Shock of Hook Set. Try it yourself my Man and watch how they don't pee and usually re load for another Dance in about 10 Minutes. Well Blazin it's Drying out as I speak and would love for others to HELP SAVE THOSE FISH !! Not only the Spots and Largemouth but also the Cats that are stuck back there and Crappie, Blue Gill, Perch, and even the Carp YES I SAID THE CARP !! The Over Flow is Drying up !! My Goal would be to get Dudes with Shovels and Dig Out and area to the Main Body of water to Fill it and give those Stuck Fish a place to move out to Deeper waters. The Drought has been Hard on those Over Flow Fish !! There's no FISHING BACK THERE However, I do walk the grounds and find Beer Picnics back there with Left over Bags of Bait and Plastic worms. Last time I walked and cleaned SOME LOSER CAUGHT AND LEFT 22 Crappie to die !! What a Waste !! These Crappie were over a pound to 2 and 1/4 Pounds.

Ya Dave I walked a bunch of them over a few other Friends also have helped ! My hope was when it was all Dry TO DIG A HUGE DITCH and RUN Pipe so we could still Run Water to the Back ! I had a Group and we actually Started the Trench but, Now WITH ALL THE AWESOME RAIN It's on hold until it starts drying out again ! The Hope is we keep getting this Rain all through February, March, & April : )~ Then maybe we not worry about the Back !

Any One can get back there now No Body Cares about saving the Over Flow Fish !! Need Anglers to Pull them out of there and get them to Deeper Water !! BIG GURLS STUCK BACK THERE !! TEENERS 13 through 19 POUNDS !! May even have a Record BASS in that Run Off !!

James the Mud was very Sticky and I tossed him in Deeper water and saw him Swim out through the under water Creek channel that is right there my Man. Sadly my efforts in trying to get as many Fish out of there is far in few between !! There is NO FISHING BACK THERE !! Unless the Friends give the OK to do so ! Males are the Protecters of the Nest. That's why he was trying to get back. Dude I wish I had Recorded some pretty Awesome Bass that would literally Skip across the MUD Swinging their Tails Franticly to get across when the water was drying up. The gap was to big and now those fish are Subject to what ever goes back there !! Have you been on my Instruction Helper channel yet ? Thanks for writing and see ya on the Water.
