Just advice but if there are 4 people generally 1 should stay behind. You should pretty much always have 1/4 of the people on the ship otherwise you really risk losing it to one thing or another. That and trimming the sails earlier is generally a good idea because the momentum will carry for quite a way.

and to be real 4 people is still to low. if you really want to play effective you would need a crew member at every post. that is about 82 people at least. including 5 music crews on every dek (3 deks) then you can really pack a punch if you coordinate this well as a army. canon overseer 2 1 2 canon 8 5 40 sail 3 2 6 sighed navigation 5 1 5 repairman 1 5 5 (shore) army 1 10 10 rudder 1 1 1 captain 1 1 1 map person 1 1 1 music crew 3 5 15
