Casting Crappie Jigs

The crappie here group up in small schools in the winter and are constantly moving. I put my unit at 100ft range and cast to the school when i get 40ft away. Ive noticed every lake fishes different. I use livescope on a pole still catch a ton in the winter but the pole really shines when they go back to the brush piles in the summer till November

Great info! One thing I was wondering that y'all didn't discuss....do y'all ever double jig rig when casting to roamers?

Excellent video today with you and Tim and Jeff. Great tips from all of you on tackle and presentation. I have a problem catching crappie on the bottom. Have tried everything I think. Do you have any suggestions.

I have found that using a 3 blade prop seems to not spook fish as much.
