Don't see that much anymore.Got into Crappie the last 5 years because I retired and now time for the walleye in the St. Clair River and Saginaw Bay along with pike spearing in the winter. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I haven’t ever gotten serious about crappie fishing which is silly for me. I take my wife out almost weekly crappie/gill fishing. Will be getting a couple rods to dedicate to crappie fishing. Also have my first fishing boat getting finished and will finally be able to hit some bigger lakes in the Midwest.

Hello I can't get an answer on this. I have the 2 X-13 & the 2 X-15. I was just told they have an X-10 and I ordered 2 last night that are in route to me. CAN YOU TELL ME IF THESE SUM BATCHES ARE THE SAME RODS JUST SHORTER OR AM I GOING TO BE GETTING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TYPE ROD IN 10FT THAT I'M GOING TO SEND BACK? Nobody even Jenko has pics of this SUM BATCH.. Thanks. 🤔

I told him the X10 is the Freaking Lockness Monster where everyone talks about it but not 1 person has a darn video or pic of 1. Don't believe me? Find a pic of an X-10 Tony Sheppard Rod Online "A N Y W H E R E".... Bad marketing is costing these guys the sales that this possibly best Crappie Rod on the Market should be yielding. Finally came in last week. It did well hauling in them 14inchers in the rain. Now my X-Series is complete with 2 15's, 2 13's and Now 2 10's... Finally. 👍

Should I consider an 11’ pole if I’m just fishing on the bank for crappie or better to go with a trick stick light set up? Do you like 4 or 6 lb for your flouro leaders?

Personally I think you are better off with the Trick Stick Light if you are on the bank for the simple reason you can cast to them and with the 11 foot rod you can only reach so far. I use 6 lb flouro leader 99% of the time.

It's my favorite all around in the line up, light, the reel seat (handle) is contoured for your had with exposed blank for more sensitive. I really don't think you will be disappointed

Just really starting getting into crappie fishing here. Now that deer season is over im thinking of getting the Bonaofied ss127 kayak and just enjoying some crappie and bluegill pan fishing. I subscribed and hope to learn a few things. Have always been a bank fisher here.

Chris, I do a lot of vertical jigging for crappie using 1/16 ounce in deep water. Sometimes using 1/32 jigs for the light bites. Do you recommend the Trick Stick Light? I don't want a rod thats too limber (whippy) but don't want a broom stick either. Jenko recommended the Trick Stick medium action but thinking it may have too much backbone.

Hey thanks for asking, I would recommend the Trick Stick LIGHT (in my opinion) for 1/16 and 1/32 oz stuff, matter of fact that's the exact sizes we where just using on Lake Guntersville in the American Crappie Trail tournament. Both are really good rods, my personal preference is Jenko, mainly because of the rod weights and actions that fit my style, but you really can't go wrong with either.

Been running jenko spider troll rods for a year now, love them! I held the x13 and trick stick at grizzly jig last weekend and those will be in the boat this year. Got to support them local boys here on KY Lake!

They have a couple new rods coming, the X-15 (15 footer) X-10 (10 footer) and a new casting rod is the X-7 if I aint mistaking, its either that or the X-5. I'm pretty pumped about it!!

X13 is my personal preference. I do like the KR rods but I really really like the x13. It's not near as stiff as the KR but it's an amazing rod. I use it and a 16ft Huckabee KROD 99.9% of the time

My late father gave me that pflueger president spinning reel size 20 before he pass away that was the last thing that I had of my father.
