Sabes las figuras que haces son muy pequeñas si nosotros hacemos lingotes las figuras tendrían que ser grandes que pesen ,aún así buen trabajo

You should make a copper maze for the bronze pac-man and zinc ghost to sit on with nodic gold food pellets

If I had all of the quarters I spent on this game back in the 80's I could cast a mountain of these figures :-D

These came out beautifully. I am always amazed by how many different things that you cast so well. It would be great to see each ghost monster cast in a different color of metal if possible.

Thanks for doing something in zinc! Such a beautiful metal! And, it's great that it didn't smoke at all.

I love this form of casting the most. Sure, it takes more time than sand casting, but the results are amazing. You keep getting better with each video. Again, smart move getting that electric furnace to keep the Zinc from overheating.

I miss the days when a roll of quarter would last a night. You have to make a Ms PAC-MAN to go with it. 👍
@BumblingB-DC3 жыл бұрын
Nice project. Maybe with the pac-man, you could have left him on the sprue to polish it easier. Also, sharpies are not great to use in a situation like this, they have a terrible lightfastness and fade very quickly. Love them none the less.

I'd love to start casting using this method for the moulds. I pretty much just make open mould ingots and the occasional 2 part sand mould of coin or something. I have enough if each metal to make a small something of any alloy or mix I want to. Making things to make a mould out of is tough when you're not creative

Did a little zinc melting this weekend myself, used my almost complete foundry (helium tank & ceramic insulation with about a marble sized hole in the side for the torch I have) to help contain the heat better....still only working with 16 oz. Coleman propane cans & a basic torch though so yeah....lol

Where do you get the steel round canisters that hold the plaster form, or the bases?
@ArtByAdrock3 жыл бұрын
Most jewelry making supply stores carry them. Even Amazon does. They can get expensive though depending on the size. A steel soup can will work just fine though if need be. I’ve used them in older videos.

Nice
@seanfoltz76453 жыл бұрын
For the cost and time you put into those molds you should have gone with actual gold and silver as there are enough stackers out there who would drop $3-5k to add a set that unique to their stack.
