They already HAVE their own appearances. Marvel dont need to waste time to show each of them again. Wiccan and speed were ALREADY introduced in wandavision. Kate bishop was ALREADY introduced in hawkeye. Kid loki was ALREADY introduced in loki. Patriot was ALREADY introduced in FATWS. Etc.

I don't know when we can expect to see the Young Avengers on Disney+, but as long as they get them together sooner rather than later I'll be very excited to see them unite on screen. On one hand, a series would allow for more time spent in getting to know their backstories, personal motivations, how they interact and get along with each other, and greater character development to grow along the series. On the other hand, an exclusive full-length movie on Disney+ might be better for suddenly thrusting the young heroes together and seeing how they adjust to the idea of working as a team for the first time, echoing the feeling from the first Avengers movie in 2012, with a refreshing twist on a newer generation. Whether it becomes a movie or series, Young Avengers will require excellent writing, a strong, engaging, and personal storyline, equal screen time for all the kids and deeper characterizations, a seamless blend of heart, humor, and action, and enough pacing so as not to make the story feel overstuffed and overwhelming to the audience. I think that's partly why Eternals didn't hit the mark as it should have because of the long runtime and heavy exposition, I would hate for Marvel to make the same mistake again with the Young Avengers and not give consideration to who they are, how they function, and how we deserve to see them represented onscreen.

I really like the idea of Quantumania being focused on Scott’s role as a father because my biggest criticism of the first two Ant-Man films is that they didn’t do that enough. Sure, the first one had a descent amount, but I never really felt that sense of guilt from Scott about missing out on so much of his daughter’s childhood and not being there for her when she needed him. Perhaps his arc over the course of this film could be forgiving himself for that. They could even make it so that he’s determined to cherish what time he has left with her by having him learn early on of the inevitability of his death. Then, his death scene at the end could be similar to Tony’s in that Cassy (like Pepper) reassures him that his work is done and they will be okay.

I still think making Riri Williams be a variant of Kang would make the most sense while also giving her a bit more meaning and simplifying things so that we don’t have iron heart AND iron lad…

But the mcu has proven itself time and time again by giving characters such as captain america, thanos etc way more depth and personality than their comic counterparts could. I have faith that they can make riri a great character. My guess is she's gonna be a wakandan, and with the help of shuri, she creates an armour even more advanced than Tony's, as was mentioned when the show was first announced

I hope their score is a modern randition of the Avengers theme, while the Thunderbolts or the Dark Avengers score is a darker and more menacing theme. Also I want Keanu Reeves Sentry as the main villain of a Young Avengers movie or series.

A long time ago I was a fan of the young avengers, I read their comics and most important moments, but the content of the young avengers is much less than other groups like the Teen Titans, so over time my excitement for the group was diminishing. I really like your idea about how we can have the Young Avengers in the MCU in the future and I hope they go to a similar way of bringing them into the picture. Scott's death in the third movie would be an impactful way to establish Kang as a threat for the future but also gives Cassie more motivation into being a superhero. The dynamic between her and a young Nathaniel Richards moving forward would be so interesting considering the murderer of her father and idol is a future version of her love interest. I can't wait for them to join and be a team like the Avengers did moving forward. Great video man!

I'm all in, I was blown away by watching Hailee Steinfeld play Kate Bishop down to a T!!! Marvel made a great choice in casting her, and I trust the choices they made for the other kids of the youthful generation: Eli Robertson as Eli Bradley/Patriot, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, etc., and Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang/Stature will be something I can't wait to see on the big screen!

That would be cool. I’m tired of every superhero having to be pro LGBTQ. They need characters that disagree with that like real life they’re still really good people who are heroic and have good reasons for being against that kind of activity. And we need villains that are LGBTQ. Because being LGBTQ does not make you more virtuous than straight people. We also need black and brown characters and female characters, that we have many female characters, they don’t care about race as a part of who they are. Not everyone’s interested in left-wing identity politics being shut down their throat every time they watch movies. The proud family has plenty of LGBTQ characters and black and brown people and they’ve never shoved it down my throat and that’s one of my favorite shows of all time now. If any of you guys haven’t watched louder and prouder, it’s amazing.

That's a good fancast choices but I have a suggestion: Instead of Iron Lad, why not merge him with Riri Willams AKA Iron Heart? She's already going to have her own series which could end in a big twist, with Riri discovering that she's one of Kang's variants, pushing her into seeking help from other young heroes to stop Kang.

That wouldn’t make sense since riri is in the current timeline of the mcu and nathaniel is the descendant of reed unless they change it up but ironlad isn’t a variant he is the past self of Kang, how will she find out about her variant self?

@@javionb813 Much like Yelena showed up in the Hawkeye series, Kang could show up in the Iron Heart series, as mercenary (maybe using the fake identity of Scarlet Centurion) working for the main villain, wanting to eliminate Riri. He would end up being killed by Riri, but not before revealing to her that she is his variant, and that, once he is gone she will have to deal with the other ones that will come after her life. This could be the cliffhanger for a Young Avengers movie or series which could have Riri sharing the informations with the other young heroes so they can help her stop this "highlander battle" caused by the other Kangs. The whole think about her needing to be the past self of Kang I don't see working in the MCU since they already establish in Endgame that, changes in the past don't affect directly the future. They just create new timelines and realites. Even if Riri (or Nate if they decide to follow the comics) learned about their future as Kang, even if they reject the idea, Kang would still exist, making the whole story about a "time traveller that comes to the past to prevent his dark future" pointless;

I used to like that idea but it ruins a lot of things. Like the blood connection between Reed and Riri. Like the reasons he'd become evil feels weird and then it's like, is main Kang a girl then?? If not, where is Riri from?? Which begins to make her character way too complicated. I think what they should do is just make Riri Williams the way they do in the comics, and everything we dislike about her character, get rid of. Unless it's used to give her a starting point and then we watch her grow from there. I think the MCU understands that she's not super well-liked and they already messed up by giving a crappy non-well-liked character like Captain Marvel a movie. So I think they would do well at giving her good characterization the way they expanded upon and did so for characters like Iron Man, Thor, Loki, and Captain America.

Sure I guess, however Iron Lad is less of a variant per say than Immortus, Rama-tut etc, he's just a young Kang and making it some white/asian/hispanic kid and then saying "hey I'm a young version of a this black guy" is a little hard for audiences to wrap there head around without over explaining the variant thing and timelines, easier just to have some harmony in their appearance to keep things simple for viewers.

Your fan cast suggestions for the characters of Wiccan, Speed, Hulkling, and Iron Lad are right on point, and I would like to see Marvel give consideration to these actors for the roles, you never know. And I sure hope that Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania does turn out to be a cleverly planned origin story for the Young Avengers, I'm already excited for the movie because of Kang the Conqueror, the multiversal saga, and Cassie becoming Stature but the fact that the movie could become a culmination of the multiverse fracturing (As we witnessed in WandaVision, Loki, Spider-Man No Way Home, and will see in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness) and the possibility of a group of young heroes rising up to fight against a tyrannical time traveler too great a threat for Scott and Hope makes this movie all the more important to watch, the future will depend on it! And I hope they come up with a good musical theme for the Young Avengers, it could sound a little similar to the original Avengers theme but different, a little rebellious, a little fresh, heroic, and as youthful as they are.... personally i think the young avengers team should have a member of the current roster be a sort of mentor that doesnt go into every battle but as they get older be there for support and advice on how to be an avenger and how to work together and as a sort of director or team manager like how fury was in the first and second avengers movies. for me there are so many options like clint barton, vision, ant-man, hope van-dym, or my personal choice thor (chris hemsworth). with jane becoming the new thor and chris hemsworth stating that he really does want to play his character for an even longer time you could have him become just Odinson not "thor" and as all the others retire or unfortunately die than he could be there to see these kids and tell them how the original team did it. or going off what u said with scott dying if that does happen than hope becomes this mentor to the team in honour of scott and to watch out for cassie with scott no longer around. i think either hope or thor (chris) would work really well in these roles moving into later stages in the mcu preferebly thor because of his more comedic demeanour but being a fierce force throughout the galaxy. just my thoughts

Height compatibility (What is important in my opinion): William "Billy" Kaplan: 173 cm. Tanner Buchanan: 175 cm. Thomas "Tommy" Shepherd: 173 cm. Joel Courtney: 183 cm. Theodore "Teddy" Altman: 183 cm. Mason Dye: 173 cm. Nathaniel Richards: 175 cm. Ashton Sanders: 180 cm. In my opinion, I would put Derek Chadwick (185 cm) as Hulkling, after all, the physique, the face and the height are closer to the proposal. I don't have any options less or more similar to Speed, however, I think that Ross Lynch would be a better option, out of my own opinion. As for the rest, I totally agree with your choice.

I have definitely thought for a while that Ant-Man 3 would be the direct build up for YA leading into a disney plus series. I'd also hope it's a multiple seasons kind of deal, because I'd also like the 2013 run to be adapted later on, especially for its focus on Wiccans power.

I think using Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania as a Young Avengers pilot of sorts is a great idea but I don't think every member needs to be in the film. Mainly because it'd make it too easy for the film to become over stuffed and lose its focus on Scott, Hope, Cassie, and Kang (Not to mention the other characters being introduced such as Bill Murray's character). As for Young Avengers I'd put in the film (other than Cassie for obvious reasons) I'd honestly limit it to just Kate Bishop (who's already rumored to be in the film). In the comics Kate moves to California (where the Ant-Man films take place) and it'd be cool if she does the same in the MCU. She could show up at Ant-Man's door specifically for trick arrows (as we know the Pym's provide tech to the Hawkeye's as of that show). Kate role really could be limited to the third act helping out in the final fight against Kang but honestly that feels like a giant leap in her character and a post credit tease of her picking up arrows makes more sense to me. As for why I wouldn't put any of the other Young Avengers in the film (aside from my previous reason of the fear of overstuffing it) most of the Young Avengers team members require set up that they just haven't been given yet. Wiccan and Speed will likely come out of Multiverse of Madness as teens but what would be their reasoning to come to Cali all the way from their last seen location of New Jersey? The only way I see them coming is if they get taken and adopted away by child services due to Wanda being an unfit and mentally unstable parent for them. Regardless they've probably got some trauma to work through and an Ant-Man film really isn't the place for that. Hulking may appear in Secret Invasion which is rumored to come out late this year but his story is so tied to Wiccan that it's best to hold off on delving into that (besides we don't even know how Secret Invasion will effect the wider MCU let alone when it takes place - it could occur after Quantummania for all we know) In regards to Isaiah Bradley/Patriot he doesn't even have powers yet and has the least reason to show up in Cali all the way from Washington DC. He'll next appearance/super hero origin will likely come in Captain America 4 which is no doubt coming after Quantummania (which is already done filming while Cap 4 on the other hand hasn't even been officially announced aside from a few reports). Lastly I don't think Scott needs to die in Quantummania. Cassie's already felt the loss of not having him around due to his being snapped and his death would just be retreading solid ground. If anything I'd like to see Scott continue as a mentor to the Young Avengers while stepping back from his role as a main Avenger (which he never really was anyway aside from helping the team in Endgame) in a similar fashion to Hank Pym in the Avengers Academy comics. PS I think we need LGBT+ actor rep behind the camera just as much as we do in front of it so while I like the actors you've chosen for Wiccan, Hulking, and Speed (who recently came out) I'd also put more emphasis to casting based on an actors sexual orientation in addition to their actual acting chops (which of course takes the priority)

Tbh, for the movie, I think they should keep Hulking for the sequel and replace him with Iron Lad (Harley Keener in MCU) and Iron Heart and either make Harley or Riri a variant of Kang.

It depends, they used him in Agents of SHEILD however right now he in a part the dark dimension so it really depends on of they want the same actor to play him (which means we get Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider ) or have there own Movie version of the guy (which would most likely be Johnny Blaze)

I think by the time we actually see a YA project the Wiccan and Speed actors will be a good age. Kids grow up incredibly fast. In 3 years on Lost in Space the youngest cast member was the tallest one by the final season.

Okay but hear me out... if jonathan majors has already been introduced as a variant of kang in loki, in my mind is safe to assume they're going to try and continue that idea but Kang has to come to quantumania, so what if the next season of loki they find this literal teen and instead of killing him or whatever they make him aware of the path his supposed to walk? What if they send him to a timeframe where he can help, and that's where he shows up in an imaginary young avengers show?

I already know whose playing Wiccan and Hulkling, me and my friend has another friend who hacks a lot and is friends with this reliable leaker. We just don't know whose playing Tommy/Speed. I'm super excited to if they're going to Marvel Boy, considering Hercules is coming to Thor: Love and Thunder. (Marvel Boy is Hercules' boyfriend) other than that, they're probably going to recast Kid Loki. Don't know who they're going to cast for Teen Loki though. Also don't know whose playing Young Kang and we don't know whose playing PRODIGY, and that's a BIG IF Mutants are in the MCU around this time. Really do hope they bring Prodigy considering that Tommy's boyfriend, but who knows🤷🏿‍♂️

My personal theory is that Wanda at some point will merge three alternate universes into one just so she can have her children again and bringing in mutants without corrupting the current continuity. But, I don't think we will be seeing any mutants until after Fantastic Four which I strongly think will be a time travel based story that finally puts an end to the multiverse saga. I only say that because Kang is around, it'd be cool to see the F4 finish him off in their debut.

They can't suddenly appear because the world still adores heroes and their wouldn't be a clear distinction between mutants and human heroes. The MCU world is too far along for the whole memory wipe story. Wanda is the only one who should bring them in.

great castings! only thing id change is the wiccan casting. Billly should be a nerd. He's always been written as a nerdy jewish superhero fanboy turned powerhouse. So casting someone thats leading man heartthrob material just seems off. Tanner would do a much better job playing Noh Varr he seems right up his alley.
