What happens if you run the combo with the normal censored wire and you do not use the adapter for it? I understand there’s an adapter and I’m guessing it’s for the new firmware but there’s no information on the Internet as to detecting if it is running correctly or not with or without the sensor wire. I reversed the last two wires on my normal sensor harness and everything works fine but how do I know if something is wrong how do I know if I did not have to do that.?

I can't get the sensor adapter in, it's way too difficult and I'm afraid of messing up the pins.

Do you need the sensor adapter cable if your using today’s most updated firmware? I reversed the last two wires myself so I’m asking bcs I didn’t try using the standard sensor cable before the mod. Can you please help elaborate??

Awesome review mate! big like & Subbed to yah! I just burnet out my MM2 on my X0-1 and I have sent it in to traxxas for warranty replacement. Should I get the Mamba X instead? is it a more powerful ESC?

I'm not really sure about the advantages but I think the Monster X handles more power and allows for a sensored setup. I really like the performance and price factor on my Castle sensored setup.

Thanks for sharing. I might have missed it, but can this motor be used in non-sensored mode? I've got one of these 1515 sensored motors (with the MMX esc) but still don't know about sensorless mode.

Do you know how many program levels this esc has in manual programing mode? All the videos I have seen shows 5 but mine has 6. And can't figure out the name and values for it. Tried the field programer and all the settings were Rong. Programed for drag break, they were off. Programed for reverse it was off. Finally figured out 1-5 but #6 is a mystery. My esc & motor area exactly like yours. 1515 2200kv. Watched castle video, says all x series esc's have only 5 programmable levels. I know mine has 6. And when Im in #6 it has 3 values choices. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

akclan33 Yes. I run a Castle 1512 with my Mamba X in my Arrma Granite.

You’ll see some clips on the esc that you can pinch and lift up and the connection is u def the x if that makes sense

anthony tenaglia Here you go bud kershawdesigns.com/Savage-StretchChassis.htm I would just get the V3 LCG mount by itself and not the kit. The kit comes with their battery trays which are horrible. Make sure you get the idler gear conversion if you have a nitro transmission. Also, get the Robinson racing spur gear. Good luck and have fun.

Thanks bro u are the man earned my sub and a like ill be following thanks again I'm building a nitro mt I had and converting to electric I gotta leave my original savage 21 as it is nitro I still love that truck it is also sentimental bc it was my fathers when he got me into the hobby and I got my first nitro he bought that savage 21 and its emaculate condition but so much fun and a great truck keep the videos coming thanks again

KaKo RC no its an old nitro rush nothing crazy good I just feel like using it for something bc it was only a parts car for the past 10 years lol motor is seized up and its. Missing a few prices so I figured why not. And I am ordering a losi 8ight T this week and I have the original savage 21. And also a super nitro rs4 350z and most recent I got the traxxas bigfoot which is a lot of fun and very durable .

All motors are kind of water resistant. I drench this thing with Simple Green and rinse with water. No problems. I would never really submerge anything unless it was rated for that.
