For bashing I wouldn’t use CHEAT. Just set it to smart sense and about 10 deg of timing.

I'm trying to figure this out myself and after looking at my linked laptop screen multiple times I just noticed on your video it indicates "fully engaged at/after" the ending max parameter in the range you chose or custom set. For days I thought the max timing ended at the chosen end parameter, unless I brain farted again the high end actually starts at the rpm high end and then runs at max timing to the end of the specific motor max limit

why does it make us choose a already set rpm to engage, why cant we pick our own rpm to fully engage?

Can I run sensor only on the field link with a brushless sensored castle setup? Already running on smart sense at 30* timing but could use more top end

You can but you can’t set the rpm range for it to ramp in

@@dwalli2 probably, drag brake has nothing to do with CHEAT.

@@StewMac570 right, but my drag break was set to 0 when I switched into sensor only mode and it started nosediving into every landing. Maybe cause the esc was trying to run sensored the entire time and getting out of alignment

Clear as mud lol. So I don't need cheat mode for my xlx2 1100kv combo in my k8s exb? Or do I what does it do

No definitely don’t use cheat with the XLX2. Not sure they have the option to use cheat on the XLX2. For that type of setup only use smart sense. This will give you a smooth start and then the sensor is no longer used after that. This reduces noise and the risk of the esc getting out of phase with the motor. With these setup a fixed timing of up to 15 deg is all that’s needed.

When using the censored only mode can a brushless motor be used with that setting or does it need to only be a censored motor

Sensored only has to have a sensored motor.

What ranges for drag?

Depends on your setup and what rpm your motor likes to work in. There is no set value. Generally I like to spread the range over as much of the rpm’s as possible and make sure it’s fully engaged before your max rpm

How would u do a 1721 2400 I was trying different throttle curves but the fastest I got was a 1.83 I need a 1.6 dry tire that’s a 90,000 rpm motor I need to leave soft an pick up speed without spinning I kno u don’t have the care to test it but can u give me a starting point
