After using Hobbywing power in my most of my builds its time to move up to Castle power for my Limitless and be able to log what is happening when I squeeze the trigger and make changes to get the best performance

Wow that is alot of setting’s you’re able to adjust especially the ones especially designed for SPEED RUNS. Great video and information about the XLX2 ESC. I love this. A lot of people think u need max punch on speed runs which is wrong as you’re showing I’m honestly shocked how much you can do.. I would love to see a comparison to the NEW MAX 4 ESC. Thank you Earl again without we or at least me would be lost. Thank for you time in advance speed build.. 👍🏻🙏

FYI Earl, the punch control setting is not punch level, so for speedruns you should set this to 100% so you have the least amount of punch (hence punch control). Setting at 0% will result in higher punch. It's a commonly misunderstood setting with Castle.

I have a question on the sensorless motor timing where should I set it for drag racing …if you can help me I would appreciate it

Sensor less you need to play with it as all motor will be different because the esc doesn’t know where the magnet it at on start up so check temps and add or remove timing and check your times to see what’s best 👍testing is the only way to know and any motor change you’ll need to do it all over for that motor 👍

Sensor motors know where the magnet at so it easier to tune never have to remove timing for power just add and check the same way

Hey bro! Great video on the amazing Castle link system. I have one too believe it or not, lol. I've been using it on my own castle systems for about 10 years now, must be one of the first USB programers available. Most others are just programming cards, nothing comes close to the specs of this USB system

Do u need a special cable. Cause mines don't turn green. I can connect the old way. Through the card. But not this new way. So. Idk if it takes a certain castle cable.

On the v2 limitless did you had move up motor mount, to fit the 1100kv on the side that you have your motor...cause on the first limitless it could not fit, where you have your motor

Have you tried the castle quick disconnect ? It’s really nice as you don’t have to touch any screws. We get the coupon for the castle connect but can’t use them in 🇬🇧. 🙄
