The news is such BS! They don't mention that the local authority gave the go ahead, the travelers even booked loos for hire, then they changed their minds at the last minute, hence the convoy chaos. And they speak as if the convoy then *chose* to have the festival at Castlemorton Common. They didn't, the police directed us there. The police usually were the ones to decide where the free festivals would take place. I think choosing the Castlemorton site was policing at its best ;) (Oh, better not tell the locals, though ... )

These things happen(?)! ..... Never mind .... It's unlikely to EVER happen again! BTW - where did all the new-age travellers go?? I bet they (the gov officials) learned a lotta lessons that weekend! I know this is the other side of the situation .... But what about what the gov-lot did to the travellers on the site in Essex - omg - was THE most disgusting, humiliating attack on those people! And still it makes NO sense to this day! It struck me as something out of a NAZI film! Peace, Love & Harmony xxx

I was 13 in 92... only just when Castlemorton happened. I asked my Mum if i could go. Bad idea. 👎🏻. Was grounded all weekend. For doing the right thing and asking permission. Lesson learned... LIE, LIE, LIE! 😂😂😂

15 years old mohawk an 150 quid the social services gave me for a weekend away at a new age fair thank u for the acid,pills,billy,black,scrumpy and tekno they tried to take my personality and soul in the care system so i let them let me party

They paid for a lot of us to party all year long.. It was good times whilst it lasted but unfortunately it got too big.. U went, u saw.. It was getting huge and yes the acid was cheap and bloody strong.. Wasn't it a culture shock the first time. Hand written menus on vans with drugs prices. Lol. But aside from that, I was set on a life on the road, 2yr later it was over.
