Castle Rock, Osborn Castle, Garrison NY

As the seasons change and the leaves drop the castle on the top of sugar loaf really starts to stand out. This magnificent structure located in Garrison New York overlooks the Hudson river, and can be seen from rt9.

At 0:05 You can see West Point. Fond memories there as well as WP had the best Forth of July fireworks. Plus the reflections of them on the river was fantastic!

I lived there as a lil boy. Great fond memories of all the rooms and my favorite was the master library where my fantasy with the various little army men both plastic and wooden would fight each other. In the summer time I would swing from the vines and run about in the back at the pond that had exotic salamanders in it. In the 70’s keep running in the back further was the work shed. Great place to lose your self as I often did. The old man would snap at me when I used the circular staircase electric chair LoL!!! As an adult would love to visit again and crawl on my knees to get my childhood viewpoint back. Sitting at the head of the table ringing the server bell for my lunch.

Google search claims it was empty from 1975 until 2020 when was purchased for3.5 million

@@markmullin4246 Last month I googled and saw it can be bought for around 6 million. By 1974 my family moved to Texas.
