The score for the film was so atmospheric. It captured every scene in which the score was more apparent. The modern guitar riffs make it more melancholy. The book itself is so melancholy so I appreciated what Craig Armstrong was going for.

Ok I'll be honest, I never read the book or saw any of the other movie adaptations, and I just watched this version for the first time the other day. And I really love this song, it's such a simple, quiet song, but it adds so much to the atmosphere of the film.

I remember when I first read the book in 11th grade. And we even saw the early 80s version of the great gatsby movie. But this movie was by far the best motion picture quality. The context of it all. Its like you are reading the book.
