Can Abaddon's quarter-circle attacks really not be dodged by Alucard? It looks as if there's a tiny bit room of room on the edge. For example, at 18:58 it looks like Alucard could fit under the curve by hugging the left tightly. At 19:13, if you moved quickly enough, you might have been able to hug the right wall by jumping over Abaddon. Poor guy still didn't get a slide-kick though... At least by Harmony of Despair they decided to use his wolf form for it.

I believe Alucard could be safe in these spots you mentioned, but since i am training these fights i can tell you, most of the time when u are attacking, you dont have enough time to put yourself into those spots, so the invencible frame provided by critical attack is the safest move.

Well one, this is JULIUS mode. Alucard is just a recruit you can get, along with Yoko. 2, if Alucard had access to like... Soma's weaponry, there's not much point to even putting Soma in.
