Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse [NES] One Life Clear

Sypha's homings orbs are insanely overpowered.
Block 1-01: 0:10
Easy introductory level. Really nice BGM though!
Block 3-00: 3:50
I like using Grant, but I usually skip him since the Clock Tower is a long and slow-paced level in an already-long game. As a little bit of trivia, the version of Grant in the original Akumajou Densetsu is very different from the US version. His default attack is the throwing knife and it doesn't cost any hearts to use. Very overpowered, but I don't think that version is as fun to use.
Block 3-03: 6:27
Not a fan of the lower path, and I greatly prefer Sypha over Alucard too. Her melee attack is surprisingly not bad at all, with its lower power made up for by a high attack speed and a nice tall hitbox. Her flame spell is very efficient and powerful and fills a similar role to Trevor's crosses. I think Sypha's ice spell is the most fun subweapon in the game, it's good for combat and allows some interesting shortcuts as well. It can even kill red skeletons, though it's not useful against bosses. Her homing orb spell is ridiculously strong and no enemy has a good answer to it. Alucard on the other hand, is only really good for skipping areas with his bat form.
Block 4-0A: 9:33
This level is pretty easy. Didn't mean to switch my axe for the knife, but it didn't matter.
Block 5-0A: 16:11
Way too many stupid mistakes here. I really dislike the stair segment so I abuse orbs to get past it. I switch to Trevor twice at the end to buy an extra hit.
Block 6-0A: 22:23
Was trying to use the orbs at 24:26 but I got tripped up by the stairs. The water dragons really can't do anything about the homing orb spell.
Block 7-0A: 26:24
Didn't mean to switch to the ice spell, but it turned out for the best. The jump at 29:03 is always scary. The boss fight is my least favorite in the game. We've already fought mummies once, the cyclops twice, and none of the three bosses are any good to begin with. No idea why I decided to corner myself against the demon.
Block 8-01: 31:44
I switch to Trevor for most of the stage since there are lots of enemies that are awkward to fight with Sypha's staff, but easy with Trevor's whip. That and I don't want to risk switching the homing orbs for something else. The orbs get confused by death's second form but he's still easy.
Block 9-01: 36:00
There's another long staircase section here and I abuse the orb spell again. I cheese the doppelganger fight too, but honestly I think you're supposed to cheese that one.
Block A-01: 42:23
Dracula's first two forms can't handle the orb spell any more than the other bosses can. Against his third form they like to home in on the moving platforms, so I use axes instead. Almost walked off the edge at 46:35.
