​@falleninthemoon9073 I'm not sure if Alucard would reciprocate these feelings because he's practically immortal and knows that if he falls in love with someone mortal he can outlive them. So romance is off the table for him. On the one hand it is hinted in the games that Alucard does like Maria but it's never been fully explored so I'm not sure how it would go in the animated series. Maria, however, has a staunch hatred towards vampires but she can excuse those like Alucard. Coupled with the fact that her mother is a vampire she'd feel very conflicted about how she feels. But since Alucard is product of a vampire and human she can come to terms with her feelings for him. This would make Alucard and Maria essentially the next Dracula and Lisa.

I love the Castlevania series, but I'd wish they would go more in depth about the Belmonts. 9 GENERATIONS of history between Trevor and Richter? I understand they can't show it all in one season, but give us something. Other than that it's awesome.

I mean, even in the games, we don't get all of those generations because the stories that matter are the ones every 100 years where Dracula returns. So: Trevor, Christopher/Soliel, Simon, Juste (who actually had to deal with a between-cycle incident), Richter. There are in-between Belmonts but they never star in anything. We also got Leon Belmont in Lament of Innocence, waaaaaay back at the beginning, though he doesn't actually fight Dracula. After Richter, there's a big ol' gap until Julius Belmont in 1999, during which other characters take over the role of fighting Dracula. Since the Netflix-verse doesn't go by the same logic regarding a recurring Dracula resurrection, I'm honestly not sure what they could do with the Simon and Christopher eras. They're kinda story-light compared to Castlevania 3, Rondo, and Symphony and most of the story they have deals directly with Dracula.
