Isaac, yes, he would find Edouard fascinating and start fostering that individuality. Hector... I'm not half as confident. He'd be interested, but I'm not particularly convinced that he would actually have the presence of mind to regard a Night Creature as anything more than a tool to be used. Hector remains a bit of a tool himself, even at the end of S4.

Speaking of Isaac...I missed the guy already. I wished they would travel to Styria at some point in season 3 and see what kind of legacy our boy left over there. Hell, I even wished that it turns out that the man made himself immortal by ressurecting himself back to life with some Devil Forgemaster magic like Drolta so we can see him again. Hands down the coolest f***ing character in the series. Nocturne just doesn't hit the same as the original series without a character that's on his level of badassery.

I love how fearless Edouard has been the entire show. It would have been so much easier to have been silent, every time he raised his voice was another invitation for silence. Shows how much they underestimated the power of revolution.

@aeblynn3 күн бұрын
The idea of Robespierre being a violent tyrant who guillotined everybody and ruled France like a king is the equivalent of "Nero set Rome ablaze". It's factually untrue and comes from a massive propaganda campaign that lasted for centuries which is still obnoxiously present in the general public, despite having been disproven even by scholars unsympathetic towards Robespierre.
@fenorlex1126Күн бұрын
@@florelle1793History is never straightforward. Sometimes those propaganda had more truth than we'd think, other times even facts are mingled with myths, like with Leonardo da Vinci.

@@LeMAList Lots of good? Are we talking about the same guy?
@LeMAList10 күн бұрын
@@Keram-io8hv Pretty sure we are! He was indeed one of the main architect of "La Terreur"and sent lots of people to the guillotine, but he was also a radical advocate against slavery and peonage, for universal suffrage and against religious persecutions. Thanks to his advocacy and that of his followers, many of these ideas survived despite the counterpush that came after. The reason he is perceived so negatively today is that he was scapegoated by the founders of the 3rd republic and made to bear almost alone the responsability of the revolutionary violences - history, as is said, is written by the victors.
