I legit found Luminatio decent ish on a normal run. That said, yeah your Holy options (called "Light" in this game) got nerfed hard and Nitesco is like the only light attack worth using (partly because it's overpowered :p)

They're still good (Luminatio even more if you know about glyph cancelling), but they are cumbersome and can easily get you killed if you don't use them well. I guess it's supposed to balance out how many enemies are weak against it. Nitesco is so good because of the elements it carries: if you happen to come across an enemy strong to Light, chances are it won't be to Fire and vice-versa. It's just too good not to use, and on Level 1 you'd have to be a masochist to ignore it.

Low key I actually found Luminato really handy a lot of the time (disclaimer, in normal). Especially in Skeleton Cave dealing with Skeleton Friskies and the one room where there's like 20 of them it made EXP farming a breeze. Heck, I actually consider it kinda helpful for the Death fight given the circular motion can clear out the sickles as well as deal decent damage to the boss himself if it hits him. It's honestly a great defensive glyph all things considering.

In my opinion split the screen info 2 parts like in PoR gameplayes looks better. Btw, love your Castlevania gameplays. Is there any chance for no damage gameplay of Castlevania :Dracula X Chronicles for PSP?

Damn, it's a pity you can't do Dracula X Chronicles. I played the heck out of it years ago and would probably still be playing it if the 3DS hadn't stolen my attention. I would have loved to see how you tackled it. By the way, ROM downloads are technically illegal if you don't own the game physically, but is it actually legal to buy the physical copy and then to play the ROM on an emulator? Or do you have to own both console and game for it to be legal? Well, either way, nice fight against the boss. I always thought it sounded like some grossly mutated Bulbasaur or something, judging from the roar it makes.

It is legal to extract the ROM out of a legally bought cartridge. Downloading ROMs in general is illegal, but you could make a defensible case if you legitimately own the game you downloaded a ROM of. All this shouldn't matte too much unless you're really against piracy or something though.
