Thank you for watching! I really appreciate it! It took a ton of retries and learning the patterns. It definitely took a lot of time and it's different for Richter and Maria so double the work. I love this game though, so I wanted to have a walkthrough of it and thought, why try no damage? I actually had to do it twice because I accidentally deleted the walkthrough right after I finished it, but I feel it came out better in the end.

Good guide, but the route descriptions are fairly wrong from stage 2 you could put: Route A (Maria Route / Werewolf) Route A (Bone Golem Route) Route B (Bone Golem) Route B (Werewolf) Cuz the regular intention of the lower route is to go always on the lower routes.. And the upper route (except the one at stage 3 vs Dogether) is even going straight and ignoring the elevator, or to fell on part 2 o 3 of the regular stage to face the Minotaur.. And to get the alternate bosses keeps the same formula if you are on the upper route, and want to go lower route to stages boss, except in Route A of Stage 3 cuz of Dogether elevator route) Besides, really nice video. 🙏🏻

My first castlevania was Super Castlevania 4 for SNES and neve had the chance to play the original Rondo of Blood until it was released in PS4 a couple of years ago... I got destroyed a lot but it was fun and could complete the game with pride. Did you watch recent the netflix adaptation?

Rondo of Blood had a port remix in the tune of Dracula X.

So sorry for the super late reply!! I'm sure you found the answer but just in case you haven't for Richter (Play as Richter Belmont. Requires a CLEAR savegame (beat Dracula in the Reverse Castle) and for Maria, seems to be the same. As long as you clear the game, you can use the code MARIA to play as her. Sorry for the late replay! Completely agree! Should be on everything and include the OG voices as on option as well. Would love the extra Saturn content too but I believe they don't have the data anymore. The problem apparently is Sony paid for this version to be made to coincide with the first season of Castlevania on Netflix which was a brilliant move, but I don't like that others don't have access to it.

Beat the game once and make all the routes a & b regularly and alternate.. the ferryman one is also counted as route..

Lol, I played the game like crazy at the time. I wanted to show every path/secret/enemy. I was always trying to do certain skips and sometimes I messed it up. I often get distracted by the people in my house/dogs too, lol. I couldn't tell you exactly why I kept missing the jump.
