Does anyone know if there are any tutorials or sites that break down some of the time saving techniques like swinging from the ring and hurling Simon up a platform or moonwalking down stairs and dropping? I know they’re performed here but it would be awesome if someone explained in depth how to perform them. Thanks.

Kasigi03 there is a secret one right before Dracula on the bottom right of the screen before the Dracula room but none before the gauntlet that I know of.

problem i have with all these runs, is when they say slogra is the hardest boss of the last four. honestly, he's really easy, if time consuming, casually. death was more of a challenge, as was dracula. i REALLY hope they just mean killing him fast, because he's not a hard boss at all. also, it hurts my soul when they credit someone for the whip landing glitch in stage 1. i was doing that since the release day of this game, back when there weren't even speed runs :| could be my name, if only i'd known.

Deus69xxx1 There have been cases of famous tricks being discovered by someone else entirely. What counts here is who made it public, sadly. I saw people before who said the Mew glitch in Pokemon Red/Blue was a thing in the late 90s already, but it was somebody in 2003 who made it public and he is being credited for that.
