This isn't classified as anime though, it's American made and produced. Sailor Moon, Pokémon and Dragon Ball all are anime yes. Other then that, awesome that you're reacting to this, loved the two seasons I've seen and always love you guys reactions, so great combo.

It’s not as clear cut as it used to be. There’s now an anime genre so this may qualify as anime by genre even if not by country. Maybe call it American anime? Though I never liked the sound of calling it that. Hey, anime started off as a copy of Disney animation and became its own thing. Now some animation studios copy anime and it’s starting to become its own thing. All I can say for sure is, I like it. Though what I like most is the move away from sitcom style and toward story arc style.

@@DavidRomigJr Love how you say Japanese copied Disney when one of the oldest anime is from 1917 way before Disney. Yes they advanced faster but the beginning ware Japanese animations. Later on Japan caught up after the boom of economy but they still ware first not Dinsey

I'm working as an ESL tutor and most of the Japanese students call them "Japanese cartoons" or just cartoons. edit: I remember one of my students watching Simpsons and thought THAT was what people referring to as "anime" xD Anyways, great reaction guys :)
