Remember to use skills and special effects to create them, especially during the devil battle. The protagonist's attack movements and special effects should be cool and can be exaggerated. The Demon King's great skill is both powerful and has a wide range.

Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Mario Bros. have all had successful movies, whether they be in terms of box office or critical/fan reception, so there are nowhere near as few exceptions as you’re making out, but you left them out to make the situation seem worse than it actually is. “Honestly” my foot. You’re essentially saying that you “can’t blame” Konami for being as pessimistic as you without considering that not everyone is you.
