Mariel was the first 5* I ever pulled. She was a solid healer and helped kept my team going through early content. I do have enough treatises for her Highpriestess, but not enough for her Arcana class. I'm holding onto my chant scripts in hopes of getting more Jinni opuses, though if I get Mariel's treatises first, I'll go with that.

Mariel NS was one of my first 5* characters too, I was using her all the way into chapter 90+. I don't recall which chapter I happened to get ES at, but it was only recently all things considered. I loved Mariel NS but once I got my head wrapped around ES, I haven't looked back!

I was wondering if you'd be interested in showcasing the new Trial fights available in Sebastia's lab ? Some of the fights released with the latest updates are quite the challenge, plus we seem to get unique Gradtas out of it? I haven't done them all yet, working on it!

@@casualcronolv99 so far, with a Sesta team, I've been able to win every achievement, except for the last two challenges on Extreme Trial

@@guguig9746 Congrats! I was browsing reddit earlier and it seemed like various Sesta teams were having success, albeit slowly. A few remarked that they needed Suzette to re-deploy and re-awaken wind zone, and others mentioned having to use Tetra's reincarnate skill multiple times in battle. Sounds like the difficulty was ramped up bigtime for these.

Great video !! Thank you. It would be cool if you Cyrus Albright showcase. I saw a video where he reach damage cap but I could not reproduce it myself (and the video doesn't have any voice or text comments). I love your contents

Thanks! My Cyrus is 60 right now, so it'll be a bit before I get him awakened. I'm curious about him though; he seems very flexible so I do want to test him out sometime.

Yes he is strong. Especially when the enemy is weak to one of his elements . but he needs to be well supported/setup. Thanks for your answer :)

Thx for this one! I rotate the oratios (def > atk) then use the atk that also heals, its great! I do think that Thile ES will bring more light to Mariel ES and other crystal chars even more!

You're welcome! I am interested in Thille ES; she has a few bonuses that work well with shadow-based characters, so I don't know how well Mariel and Eva will fit in. However, I do like that it seems to be crystal's turn to shine (no pun intended) right now, and I'm very curious to see what the AE playerbase figures out once some time passes with Alma AS and Thille ES.

Just a question how you get that extra bar down the AF meter 🤔

If you mean that bar immediately below it with the Roman numerals, that's something that appears if you have any ES character with you. When you enter Another Force, that's when you can charge up the bar. If you fill up the bar, you can get a special finishing move. The number to the right of the bar indicates how easy it will be to fill it up (higher number means easier), and that number increases each turn. If you don't have any ES characters in your party, you won't see that bar. In short, it's something that adds a little flavor to the end of an Another Force, but isn't terribly important in the long run. I think some character's finishing move is more powerful based on how much damage they do during AF (I did a quick search and Melina ES's finishing move scales based on her performance during AF) but overall I don't think it's particularly helpful. Consider it more of a nice bonus.

I got her when pulling for Yakumo this summer! I haven't used her a lot, but i've seen her on different teams. Thanks for the showcase!

I don't use her much anymore, especially now that I have tetra, but I understand she is still helpful in some of the astral archives. And lately with crystal characters being showcased, maybe she'll be used a bit more?

In a short span of time the game gave me 9 of her codices. Do you think I should chant her. I see her potential in her casting two kinds of Lunatics in two prayers so what do you think Casual Chrono and thanks

How many chants do you have, and do you have many other characters who can pray? I enjoy using her but I don't often use her with my superboss teams because I don't *need* her anymore. Other characters can do similar things...if you have Melpiphia, for example, she kinda has a similar skillset. I like her, and if I didn't have any prayer-types, I'd consider upgrading her. If you do, she might not be worth the chants unless you have a bunch.

@@casualcronolv99 Toova ES and Myunfa Alter are the only Prayer units I have and both of them are Broken soo..I see where you're going. I have 40 chants but I'm saving for Felmina ES and Velette. So assume 30 chants are available

@@farouktalbi863 She's not bad if you have the chants to spare. I like to use her, and hopefully she'll become part of a strong crystal team for me. Ultimately your call though, she's not a game-breaking unit. I'd look at who you have and if you would pair her up/replace her with any of your characters.
