It's one of the things I most appreciate about Jess. When she says she's had "a piece for a while", it's usually years, and her cost-per-wear is phenomenal. Definitely more in keeping with how we shop in real life, as opposed to endless and/ or huge hauls, like the majority of influencers. Even if someone could afford to buy masses of clothing, doesn't mean they should.

I must admit I probably live in jeans more than anything else in my wardrobe. Though I have been making an effort to wear other types of trousers this year, denim jeans are always my foolproof 'go to' when I don't know what to wear. It’s impossible to pick a favourite denim jeans outfit 😊each and every outfit is lovely and inspiration for me. I can see myself pulling pieces from my wardrobe and putting together my own version of these outfits. Someone mentioned in a comment how nice it was that you do not only show hauls. I love, love, love wide legged/flared jeans. They are so comfortable and relaxed. They do take me back 70s though- is it acceptable to wear something as you near sixty that you wore as a teenager? Hi Jess! How can I comment on my favourite denim outfit when you look so great in all of them? I’m making the most of the spring weather at the moment by wearing my jeans, cream linen blazer, cotton shirts or a cotton tee. I don’t wear heels so my trainers get full airing and I also have a pair of matt bronze Oxfords which look nice too. I still love the floral top on you and the all- black look was stunning. The only Jean style I haven’t got in my wardrobe are flares- not because I dislike them but because I haven’t tried on any since I was at university many years ago! Once we move out of the ‘click and away’,appointment system as well as a time limit in each shop, all still currently in place here,I will have a browse but I can’t shop under stress so I’ll be patient for a while longer! Morning Jess, some great ideas this morning, thank you! I’m loving the flares and (giving my age away), it takes me back to my youth! We used to open up the outer seam to the knee and add extra fabric to make the ‘flare’ bigger. The 70’s was definitely the decade style forgot 🤣🤣! I got my first Mariniere (Breton) sweater in 1980, the year I started university. It was a beautiful 100% cotton one from Marimekko here in Fisherman’s Wharf. I wore that hundreds of times, it was indestructible. Since then, I always have one or two in my wardrobe, ideally one with navy stripes and one with black, they are so classic and versatile. I’m looking for a bright white and true navy cotton one, all I see in Spandexy ones in cream and blavy.

Fantastic ideas, really applicable for my life (except for the heels). I love your flares, have bought wide leg trousers too cause that silhouette is great for me and I likethe 20th century nostalgia I feel when I wear them. BUT I find that a lot of the tops and shoes that went well with my skinnies don't work anymore. Round toe boots? No! Slouchy tops? Urgh. Could you do a whole video please on the aspects to consider when changing silhouette like that, and how to incorporate it in your wardrobe without spending lots of money? Thanks, love your content! I would just add quite a simple camisole underneath. I don't think you'd want anything too busy if the blazer is striped. Nice pair of heels or loafers and I think that'd look lovely x

@@FashionStyleEdit Hi Jess, yes... I got into that habit a long time ago using Sunday as 'wardrobe planning' day. I used to do it with magazines as the base inspo...now it is a combo of social média, magazines or I just draw out little sketches. It is way more fun and I plan the basic week. I sélect it all and iron it up and then I choose on the day rather than saying that dreaded question "what an I going to wear?" so stressful on work days! It takes about an hour and a half but well worth it! I can of course change my mind but I usually add in a few extra separates. I do thème weeks (all pink and black), fllorals etc. to go with the weather. I was not doing that while in lockdown but I reimplemented it and it is way more boho and fun as there are alot of 'home only' pieces I would not make use of in the business world. Some of these are 'seconds' ...may have a small rip that I have mended etc. but that are still favs. With a bit of starch they come back to life. One hour on a Sunday is well worth it to iron a gardening dress! So I add in weekends. Really helps to maintain ritual in times of our world condition. Plus it is really fun and way way less stressful when going to work in healthcare .. During the winter in a pandemic. I love the straight and flared jeans, both my eyes and my bod have had enough of skinnies for a while. I am keeping most of mine, but wear them tucked into knee-high boots in the Autumn/Winter. I try to keep items, if I can wear them somehow.

Oh my goodness! All the ways to wear jeans and all the styles of jeans that you ever wanted to know. I can't wear sandals or heels! I wouldn't wish old lady feet on my worst enemy. I long for the days I could wear those cute little shoes. I am beginning to look for the wider legged jeans that are coming back into style. I think I am going to a charity shop and look for them first. I have just the place in mind!

I find jeans the most uncomfortable item of clothes , and most difficult to buy, especially high waisted look nice only on very thin women with small waist, I look like a barrel in them, and now nearly all trousers are high waisted. And if you have a bit of fat on your stomach, like most women do, them jeans are a real killer .

Jess, you've introduced me to Polene and I have to say, I love all of their beautiful handbags. I'm just curious, do they ever have sales or promotions on their bags? I would like to purchase three of them, but my luck is I always buy before a big sale missing out on amazing deals. Any insight you can give to how they run their company/sales would be very much appreciated. If I get a sale, I would purchase more. With mother's day coming up I would like to get one for my mom and my niece who is a new mom this year. :)

I talk about them a lot on my channel and I’ve never even had a discount code to pass on sadly. However what I will say is the quality of their handbags far exceeds the price. I believe they’ve cut out wholesale to stores which helps to keep their prices more affordable than the rest. And perhaps another reason why they don’t do sales? I shall actually be doing a review of all of their bags in a few weeks so look out for that video, it should give you a good rundown of all the bags and everything you need to know 😘 x

Thank you for these outfit ideas. To pull from the wardrobe is very sensible, but on occasion I would like to shop something new. It would be very helpful if you added information if the clothes fit true to size or if something should be sized up or down. I am after the Anton blouse since last year...now it's in again I am hoping to grab one, but they are pricey so I don't want to gamble with the size. Maybe this video was not intended for the rest of the clothes? Maybe only the jeans? Anyway, love your videos as always 🥰
